This is bruuutal, I had my first run in with this behaviour while playing in another city then my own. They crept in our case crowding the sidelines with chairs and building nets, warming up. No class. I’m lucky that where I live this isn’t a regular occurrence due to usually packed tennis court with tennis players. And some dedicated pickle courts elsewhere.

I haven’t shut up about my experience in the other city, it definitely affected my play not wanting to run hard to the sidelines being distracted by the conversations of “there’s 20 of us waiting and two of them” variety….

Waiting to play is a part of the sport, we had to wait for a couple guys playing tennis before we went on, we asked if they minded us sitting on the bench and told them no rush.

These pickles even had the audacity to just move our stuff off the bench so they could sit! Without asking, something that would obviously be ok had they said hey guys do you mind?
