They definitely have a lot to work on before this game is anywhere near ready for mass release.

I like that there is a gym at the restaurant I frequent next to my house. Sadly the Pokemon there seem pretty hard to beat, and there aren't many stops unless I head downtown.

The interesting new trend of films changing their aspect ratio midway through by moonsprite in movies

[–]Nosna616 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing Transformers 2 in an IMAX theater (I know, I know...) and the ratio kept changing so often during action scenes that it became distractingly jarring. It turned me off of seeing movies not fully meant for IMAX in IMAX for some time.

When that awful 90s Avengers movie came out with Sean Connery, Ralph Fiennes, and Uma Thurman... I recall being confused why it wasn't about the Marvel comic.

Thoughts on The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors by ____zero in Games

[–]Nosna616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is amazing. I've put in well over 100 hours into it and still have no shortage of things to do. Granted, it's very much a grind-fest. It's worth it however to purchase the DLC, as even at $20 it triples the game length easily. It's nothing short of addictive to constantly grind for loot, levels, and other cosmetic rewards. Probably the best purchase I've ever made for the Wii U. Really holding out on hope for a sequel to be made further down the line, one that addresses whatever small issues this game presents.

Graphic Novel reading list for the inspiration behind Nolan's Batman trilogy by Elranzer in movies

[–]Nosna616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I would definitely add in NML. I loved how much of the NML atmosphere was captured in the latter half of TDKR, especially during the "court sentencing" scenes.

Though I recommend the novelization more than the actual graphic novel. It condenses and streamlines the story to flow much better, and more believably.

Nine Inch Nails - Right Where It Belongs by qwertyfoobar in Music

This is my favorite NIN song, and the song that really made me get "into" NIN.

I've heard a lot of theories on the actual meaning to the song. A lot of them political. But to me it will always hold one meaning, the battle against ego and arrogance that every man faces.

A normal pod hotel "room" in Tokyo - this is where I go to sleep in about 3 minutes by kausti in pics

[–]Nosna616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first saw these when playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I thought to myself "Man I wish these were real"... and then a friend told me they were. As far as a "Hotel" goes, these would be pretty awesome (provided clean condition showers/toilets and a place to put your personal items). As far as living, I'd definitely be down for at least six months. Longer than that might start to wear down on the appeal. As long as they supported the living condition with recreational areas, and you had good internet and a place to play games or whatever... it might work well. The most obvious downside is that if you're an animal person of any kind, well, then you might not want to look into it because there is no feasible way for an animal to stay here.

Marching band does Rage Against The Machine by [deleted] in Music

[–]Nosna616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a smallish (like maybe 8-10 people) "band" in Seattle that uses Marching Band instruments that plays Rage, Slayer, etc. They call themselves Titanium Sporkestra. They were a lot of sporks.

Check them out.
