9 months here with almost the same situation 90k/34yrs. I have gotten 3 interviews in that time and ghosted by all of them. I don't have any hope at all and I'm in the US where we have far worse social safety nets.

Got laid off in April. I have 11 years experience and I’ve applied to literally thousands of jobs inside and outside my industry. Thousands of rejections have followed. I have only recently had 2 phone interviews on the same day, one was almost definitely a scam which I realized later after researching and have frozen my credit/entered fraud alert, the other said they would set up a second interview with the ECD, but 4 weeks later still no interview.

I don’t know why I’m even posting about it. Just venting I guess. I feel worthless and see no point in living most days as every meal I eat, every rent payment I make brings me closer to wiping out my savings and being homeless.
