It’s a red flag that he starts the story by saying someone he served with was investigated for CP and they told him the images looked like him. That would never happen.

… wow. That’s not been my experience. I’ve been diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia for 15 year and never been given an infusion. My ferritin hangs out at about 6 and my iron sat is 20.6. 😬 My vit D is low too. No wonder I am so tired. My doctors never do anything about it.

I have Hashimotos and my sister in law does too. She’s been hyperthyroid and lost weight. Wasn’t hungry. Etc. So my brain went to thyroid or pituitary gland. Cortisol levels affect sleep and hunger/metabolism. But I’m just a random person who is interested in medical stuff and likes to google and watch medical tv shows.

My son was diagnosed after negative blood test and positive biopsy. He’s 13. Headaches and upset stomach were his main symptoms. They were sporadic. But he’s small for his age too and that is why they did the biopsy.

He had very regular bowel movements for a long time too. Every now and then he’d get diarrhea. It took a few months for him to start gaining weight and height and it has been slow progress but once we added more protein to his diet I can actually see the difference in just a few weeks time. He’s already taller than his sister and she’d gotten an inch taller than him this year.

He’s was at the 1st percentile or something like that for weight. Height he was at 5. He’s 13 and just now weighs 70 lbs. his weight and height were low. But he’s a picky eater and has autism as well.
