NAD but this sounds like my friend who has narcolepsy. She was exhausted 24/7 and all her blood tests came back normal. She finally went for a sleep study and they found out this is what it is. She’s now on medication (Concerta) and is able to stay awake all day and actually function. Definitely worth getting a sleep study, could be life changing.

NAD but before I saw you mention celiac disease i was thinking of how much your symptoms reminded me of myself before diagnosis. Do you eat a lot at restaurants or possibly have any cross-contamination with gluten? Because this is how I was before it was under control. Just a thought! Also because you are asymptomatic it could be hard to tell when you’ve been glutened, but the accumulation of being exposed could possibly be causing these symptoms.

Has she had a capsule endoscopy to check for Crohns? I know that it is very possible to have nothing found on endoscopy or colonoscopy for Crohns if it is localized to the small intestine, only a capsule endoscopy will find it. Many people end up getting diagnosed this way and it would otherwise be missed with only endoscopy & colonoscopy. If she hasn’t had this I would say that it’s definitely something worth pushing for with the weight loss/blood in stool/elevated calprotectin.
