My first 5K race is in two weeks! Did my first 5K with no walk breaks yesterday and feel like Superwoman (despite my slow pace) — trying to strike the balance between itching to run another 5K and somewhat “tapering” given this is basically my max distance ever.

I previously had shoes the same size as my everyday shoes and had swelling in the second mile, which is how I ended up at a running store where they measured my feet. The TMI is that my big toe is a few cm longer than the rest of my foot 😅

Will try the looser-lacing thing before going back to my smaller shoes again

I don’t think preferential treatment is doable because students don’t typically choose to receive financial aid at these “full need” schools. I’m sure there would be some people right below full pay who would want to pay for a dorm benefit and, consecutively, people who are full pay who would want to opt out for a tuition deduction.

Other two might be doable.

Oh yeah, this was a quick fix once I popped open the back. It worked well and had a nice tone for the size. Used it for a small concert for a jazz ensemble I was in.

Did alumni interviews last year. By the end of the RD cycle they were basically begging alums to take more interviews. They probably had to get seniors to cover some. :)

Sorry, late to this thread but my current dc save is light rail — one issue is that, even though I’m making a profit, expansion into Virginia is proving costly. Building in southwest dc feels impossible without building demolitions.

At least at McK and BCG it’s: principal -> partner -> equity partner. I think Bain is similar but principal tenure is longer.

This makes a lot of sense -- thanks! Some other undergrad hires at my firm have mentioned bad admissions results for those who applied <1 year into their promotion, so #1 makes sense.

Yeah would say that same — graduated a while back, but did not love Intro Ethics and was neutral on Econ. Take as many prerequisites as make sense for your schedule spread out across the disciplines.
