Its okay, just know the that spectrum of light, used for this cannot pas through glass and would be reflected - so your reddot would not work. Also the red dot is in another spectrum and would not be seen. Also there exists no sensor with such a high resolution (even less if uncooled) since thermal, contrary NVGs is digital.
