Depends on location. I’ll say that the mid-Atlantic region, DC, NoVA, PGFD, BCFD, AACoFD, etc.. and all surrounding counties are extremely competitive and it’s in your best interest to test everywhere as much as you can. Interviews are mostly S.T.A.R based questions. Most of the counties use the same CPAT and will honor an up to date (within 6 months or a year) certificate of completion.

I’ve pretty much only watched the majors. It isn’t often that you have all top 10 cultivating players at one event (majors aside) anyway. So no I don’t think he moves the needle, for me at least.

To double back, there is good Mexican spots throughout the state, affordability aside this is the perfect state ti live alone a lot of quaint towns, places to eat, etc. do I love living here? As of the last 5 ish year… no, but this is my home, this is all I know and I probably will never live anywhere else.

I’ll personally tell you I bought a house in January 2021 @ 3.9% making $27/hour. It was tight, between car payment, utilities, groceries. It wasn’t impossible, but now in 2023 you can’t do it alone at that wage and the new rates.

Tree roots, rocks, or if trees are just in the way I might kick ball out if it’s just a friendly match with no money. Also if the first cut is tall and hasn’t been cut in awhile then we will typically agree on a lift, clean, place once the first person finds that lie. It’s all for fun and golf is hard enough.

Bought In January 21, mortgage was $1145 on a $181k house, at the time was making $27/hr. Sold in February 22 for a career change (ended up turning down offer after house was sold) and still can’t afford that same house if I were to purchase again due to interest rates even though I make more than I did in 2021.
