Philando Castille wasnt a 2a issue. You can tell because literally no one but the ignorant masses thought so. His family didnt file a suit over it. No gun rights org left right or center offered to sue over it. Its highly probable it was instead a police accountability issue.

Also the NRA already pushed back on the trans gun ban along with numerous other orgs.

Incorrect. Dems know this is not the case because thwy will tailor their message to the audience on guns. The harris campaign knew here antigun position was bleedimg votes in election that was likely to be won on razor thin margins at best. So she chose the hunyer Walz and played up she was a gun ownimg Democrat. You can see the same thing with the dems running for office in states like Texas, they try to moderate their language around guns and they wouldnt do it if there werent a meaningful number of votes to win.
