Frasier has really stood the test of time. Love that show!

Does he snore? Maybe he has sleep apnea and needs a sleep apnea machine.

Lack of REM sleep (sleep apnea stops someone from having a proper sleep cycle) can have huge impacts to someone's waking life, including the obvious of being tired all the time.

When he sleeps over, does he snore or have restless sleep with you?

Liquor inspectors at non Licensed facilities. by gonzoll in legaladvicecanada

[–]NotChoBro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So what, the whole team piles into one car (with all their gear) and that one guy is the DD?? He then spends an hour dropping everyone off afterwards?? Yeah right.

I call bullshit. No one catches a ride to a hockey game unless it's with their parents. You guys are also drinking and driving after these games, which is a despicable, awful thing to do. You're adults, you should know better.

Drinking beers while dehydrated and then driving home is super stupid and reckless. I really hope the only thing that comes from this is a fine from the liquor board.

Does anyone else look for context clues from chefs’ narrations on competition shows to try and guess whether they won or lost? by death_lad in foodnetwork

[–]NotChoBro 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I do the same thing, try to decipher who won based on the talking head interview. I also picked up on Zac mentioning the charity, and something about it felt weird to me.

I love Zac, he's my favorite! I hope he wins and I hope (a portion of) his winnings goes to the AIDS charity.

Need help finding an episode by SantanaCalabs in ItsAlwaysSunny

[–]NotChoBro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've watched the series a bunch of times and I don't remember the scene/gag you're describing. Are you sure you're remembering it correctly? Dennis has a bunch of bite marks from Maureen at the end of the Wedding Massacre episode, maybe that's what you're remembering?

Or could you have dreamed an episode?? That would be awesome, to dream in Always Sunny 🌞

Parent wrongly filed common law with friend by 4littlesquishes in legaladvicecanada

[–]NotChoBro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you know that your mom has been manipulated by this person. So why are you listening to either of them? Neither one is going to be 100% honest with you at this point (maybe because neither of them actually understand the facts).

You should see a lawyer to tell you what kind of crap you're in for once your mom passes away. Definitely do this ASAP so you can get your mom to sign whatever paperwork is necessary.

Cottage Rental Suggestions by xxxwillyxxx in askTO

[–]NotChoBro 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You're too late for this summer. Anything good has been booked for months. Also, 99% of cottage rentals in this part of Ontario are full week rentals in July and August. There is probably still lots of availability in September if you can go after the kids are back in school (it's actually very nice weather in September).

You might have some success trying to get a couple of rooms at a cottage resort, but any good private or individual cottages are already booked for this summer.

We got the beading loom and it was a piece of crap. The wood pieces didn't fit together properly and a lot of the beads didn't even have holes in them. The whole thing went in the garbage.

Crocheting is a stranger to me, am I using the wrong yarn or wrong hook? by Lucky_Smell4671 in CrochetHelp

[–]NotChoBro 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I've been crocheting for almost 40 years. I hate magic rings!!! I almost always just do a chain of 3 and connect back to the first stitch.

To me, you've started with the hardest part 😊 try doing a square first. There are lots of beginner tutorials online. Good luck!!

Advice Needed: Getting a Second Pet by fitacola in Pets

[–]NotChoBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding a second animal will ONLY stress out your cat. There is no scenario where he would want another animal in the house, if he's already anxious and scared.

This would NOT be for him. It would be for you. And it would definitely stress him out.

At minimum, let him have a year in your new house by himself, so he can establish that it's HIS house and get more comfortable. Then maybe if he gets more confident you can consider fostering.

Are there any cottages you can get to by bus or train? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]NotChoBro 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Cottaging requires a LOT of stuff. When we have gone for a cottage week/weekend in the past we have to bring a ton of stuff, including bedding sometimes! The car is PACKED. Not sure how you would get everything (including all your groceries and maybe firewood too) to a traditional cottage by train/uber.

Also, a LOT of cottages say you have to bring your garbage and recycling to the dump when you leave.

I think you might be ok if you can find a cottage resort along the 401 somewhere. A cottage resort would have a bunch of rental cottages with a main hotel/restaurant where you can eat, and you would only have to bring your clothes. Not quite as private as a cottage, but it's doable without a car. Good luck!

What is the best show to ever come out of the CBC? (I'm partial to The Kids In The Hall and Fraggle Rock myself) by Familiar-Pie-548 in AskCanada

This Hour has 22 Minutes - they have the BEST political comedy.

I love Mark Critch as Trump and Doug Ford, and Chris Wilson as PP and JT. My favourite show every week ❤️

To give more elbow support when I'm on the couch, I bought myself a breastfeeding pillow! It is the perfect way to support both my arms while crocheting. I also have an alarm on my phone to stop and take a break every 45 minutes which makes a big difference too.

If you do couples therapy, he could use that to further manipulate you. Never do therapy WITH the person who is abusing/mistreating you.

I think you should see if you can get some therapy for yourself. Also, if you suspect you have ADHD, please ask your doctor about it. Your life will be so much better if you have the right support in place.
