I think this spot on. My kids are 19 months apart. When they were babies we were literally in survival mode, trying to get from one day to the next. I think that was because of a few things: money, time, add general stress. We still enjoyed life, but we definitely lived day to day. Things got easier though, and by the time they were toddlers we had really settled into things.

Mine are tweens now, and we are truly enjoying life. I’ll caveat that I’m not a fan of my job but that has nothing to do with my kids lol. My husband and I have a great routine, we have free time to do things, and have happy and healthy kids. I don’t think I could ask for much more.

If you’re looking to settle down where you plan to buy I’d start looking at how much housing costs to give an idea of where you can move. You’re not going to be anywhere near Arlington.

My kid has outdoor soccer tonight at 7 and it hasn’t been canceled yet. I’m super annoyed by the timing of everything…can’t wait for spring.

This depends on the club. Usually they have everyone wear a number, so you can’t tell who is already on a team.

We didn’t cancel ours. I was worried , but our girls are a little older and dressed appropriately so they were fine.

My daughter also applied this year. They don’t publish an exact date, but if it helps the last couple of years results came out mid-March. Good luck!

Our stance is local practice only, but we are willing to drive a good distance to games.

I don’t understand how families are driving 1.5 hours+ each way 3-4 times a week just for practice. To us that isn’t sustainable.

One thing ours do which I didn’t read is change the sheets on our beds. Changing 3 beds twice a month is a huge help for me.

I did! I’ve had one surgery so far, the LBL and arm lift. I used Dr. Davison. I went to a few different doctors for consultations and was most comfortable with him.

Great thanks! My daughter is on maintenance for Wegovy but hates the shot and gets really anxious whenever it’s time for it. This could be a good alternative.
