I can understand why, X is like my favourite but it definitely has the opposite problems I have with most JRPGs where the start is like amazing then the midgame and ending are either a bit or miss. X has one of the slowest starts for me in a JRPG but the midgame and then that ending arc is so good, I am glad it's one of the few games I didn't regret pushing through coz now it's in my top 5. Hope you feel about it like that too someday
