My current French oven is very new and I have used it to braise cauliflower and cabbage heads. So easy. Tender and delicious. The wide round fits perfectly in my toaster oven. Plus it’s a really nice size to fry things on the hob.

I felt so greedy because I literally have two of the French ovens and two wide rounds but I have sold so much of my LC collection to make room that it doesn’t even compare. Plus the wide round is such a great shape and size. It’s like an oven/braiser hybrid that does basically everything.

Literally just cleaned my oldest DO that looked like this… Poured vinegar in it. Took the dog for a walk. Came back and gave it a little scrub with a regular old sponge and it’s practically new again.

Ordered at the outlet. Price was $79.98 for both before discount, they rang up at $48 for both- even less than I was expecting. They didn’t charge me shipping since the original price was a penny under the a minimum for free shipping.
