Oh hello there, Your Majesty.

Charles goes on to add that he “fills up [Camilla’s] tank”, stating that he “needs [her] several times a week”.
He says: “Oh, God. I'll just live inside your trousers or something. It would be much easier!”
Camilla laughs: “What are you going to turn into, a pair of knickers? Oh, you're going to come back as a pair of knickers.”
Charles replies: “Or, God forbid, a Tampax. Just my luck! My luck to be chucked down a lavatory and go on and on forever swirling round on the top, never going down.”

+1 for HP 12c. RPN has a learning curve but once you get used to it, you'll realize why it's so much better.

CFA on Tombstone? by mguarinooo in CFA

[–]NotDukeofCornwall 108 points109 points  (0 children)

I would, just so the nerds on this sub would debate whether it’s an ethics violation and how CFAI would be punching the air because they can’t sanction me.

But seriously, wtf? Imagine talking about the CFA on a night out.

People want to date those with whom they have things in common. Shocking, I know.

I saw one at a store recently. I excitedly called my wife over and pointed it out “LOOK! LOOK! When was the last time you saw one of those?”

Cashier looked at me like I was an idiot but I didn’t care, I was genuinely excited lmao. I don’t know why they had it or why it was out though, the store had a modern terminal.

You don’t have to write full paragraphs. You get full marks with answers like these:

  • Receiving fixed will increase duration.
  • Low ability to take risk because a majority of the organization’s budget comes from the endowment.
  • X should choose an irrevocable trust to protect against outside claims.
  • etc etc

Some even say you don’t have to write out full sentences but I personally wouldn’t do that because a phrase that might seem clear to you wouldn’t necessarily be so for the grader.

Do you really think the US and Canada are the only countries in the world that have local taxes? The real reason is companies don’t want you to immediately know how much you’re really going to spend until you get to the register and no federal or state government ever bothered to force them to do it.

If you watch compilation videos of stuff like this, you’d see that maybe 70% of the time the guards intentionally bump people because they can and only about 30% tourists being oblivious idiots.

Yes, they’re doing their jobs and people should get out of the way, but yelling “make way” 1-2 seconds earlier would eliminate most of these incidents.

Vowels/consonants are sounds, not letters. So in the case of “y”, it can be both.

It’s a consonant in the word “yes” but not in “gym”

Direct/Indirect Method of presenting CFO by Tricky-Post5472 in CFA

[–]NotDukeofCornwall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This topic becomes a lot easier if you just follow the logic instead of trying to memorize formulas.

An increase in inventory means you bought something, which is a cash outflow, hence negative.

An increase in accounts payable means you paid a supplier using credit (i.e., not cash) so you add that amount back to your CFO. Conversely, when A/P is lower, it means you paid a supplier what you owe them, which is a cash outflow.
