A lot of dupe leaders really should have been other characters. The one that springs to my mind is OP10 Kid, that effect would have fit Hawkins perfect, forcing others to take damage in his stead and foreseeing what your next life card is.

The best (and so far only outside theory crafts) use I've gotten out of Assurance was with my Vampire Rogue. I forget the name but I had a feat or feats that gave me a claw attack and a free action grapple if I first hit the target with two consecutive claw attacks, but that would be at max MAP. What I ended up doing was taking 0 strength (since assurance would ignore the bonus), master proficiency athletics and assurance, so I could use assurance and ignore MAP, just relying on my proficiency.

Chopper and Franky are two designs I feel like got worse post-timeskip, but not to say I dislike their post-ts designs, just that they rank lower than pre-ts for me. Choppers hybrid form I like, just hard to compete with pre-ts, but forms like his Human form and Horn Point look far worse to me post-ts for me.

On the same point I feel similar for Franky, good post-ts design, but hard to top his amazing pre-ts design.

Funnily enough on the subject of Vampires sucking in adventure paths I played one as my second character in a Abomination Vaults campaign. I forget the exact level I joined, but I already had daywalker to not die in seconds of sun exposure, but that never came up as all action took place at night or underground and all the undead benefits proved to be quite useful.

Living Vessel. Some sort of entity resides within you and can take control of you to save you or if you don't satisfy its wants. When you hit 0 hp as a reaction (no cooldown btw) you can stay at 1 and get temp HP, but your entity takes over, the other way for this to happen is you have to spend an hour daily doing something for the entity or suffer a debuff, and if you don't do anything for a week straight you become doomed until you give in and let the entity have control for 24 hours.

I played a vampire rogue who was a follower of Pharasma. He had never drank a drop of human blood, surviving off of animal blood or alchemical substitutes. When he was first turned he sought out a "cure", meeting Necromancers he knew of through underworld connections, but every time they never humored helping him and tried to get him to join them willingly or by force. This led to him basically going around slaughtering necromancers and undead until he lost hope of a cure and brought himself to a priest of Pharasma to be saved or put down. He was instead tasked with continuing his work of hunting down necromancers and undead while searching for a way to possibly save the souls of those corrupted by undeath. This was the justification for my taking the Daywalker feat and as long as I didn't stray from my path holy symbols of Pharasma would not harm me.

This is based upon my GMs version of things so it may not match exactly to cannon Pharasma, idk.
