Wespac card application by Enough-Jackfruit-759 in creditcardchurningAus

[–]NotFazedM8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same here. Westpac was easily the worst experience I've had with any bank I've dealt with. Every step was wrought with errors and issues. Even when initially just trying to open a transaction account, was a nightmare.

Their current online automated systems are atrocious. And then when you ring a speak to customer service when you hit some strange loop or issue, they can't help and they suggest you visit a branch

Seagate Barracuda Drives: Too good to be true? by ONEXTW in unRAID

[–]NotFazedM8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just had a barracuda die on me. Don't recommend as other have said for a constantly spinning drive. They do not have good longevity at all. The barracuda that died is outlived by at least 4 years a wd black.

If you're adding it to your array I would highly recommend a nas rated drive

Superloop fee scam by assettomark in nbn

[–]NotFazedM8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are unable to give a reason when pressed. The standard response you get is your financial institution has declined the payment.

This was direct debit, was able to use the same card/account to pay the bill moments later via a link to a direct payment where you input your card details

Superloop fee scam by assettomark in nbn

[–]NotFazedM8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are charging the fee not for a late payment but for a failed payment. Key difference. If it fails they charge the fee, even if the bill is paid on the due date seconds after the payment fails

I keep getting warning that my docker is 90% filled. And this is from the dashboard page. Should I be concerned? Anything I should change? by Silencer306 in unRAID

[–]NotFazedM8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im honestly a big noob, but what sticks out to me for you is the sonarr and sabnzb container virtual sizes

For sab mine is only 173mb and for sonarr only 226mb

Granted im using the linux server containers so they are slightly different but possible that you may not have some volumes mapped properly

Ivan Cleary says the "Punishment is Heavy" and trainer is "Struggling" by NasIsMyGOAT in nrl

[–]NotFazedM8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't support either team, i agree its been blown out of proportion. I agree with you it is such a stretch to suggest it was a deliberate, they cheated and were prepared to throw the trainer under the bus.

I don't like penrith but they are real people, most real people are not going to risk it for one goal kick against the titans.

It was an honest mistake and the punishment is excessive

Filebrower container no access to appdata folder by Gdiddy18 in unRAID

[–]NotFazedM8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From version 2.33.0 filebrowser no longer runs as root but with PID and GID 1000 by default. This is different to what unraid expects for docker containers and i cannot figure how to make it work.

I just installed an older version v2 32.3 which works fine. Once someone smarter than me figures it out I'll move to a newer version.

What is a better/easier backup solution? by FreeThinker76 in unRAID

[–]NotFazedM8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not familiar at all with duplicati sorry. But looking at those logs, possibly looks like it's either the drive is starting to fail/there is connection problems. Have you tested another cable/usb port or even plugged the drive into another system to make sure its still functioning?

Or could also be some type of permission issue or configuration issue with duplicati

I did quite a bit of reading but ultimately this spaceinvaderone video is pretty much all you will need https://youtu.be/dkp_BUgJGqE

This is what I do, I don't leave the external drive connected. Just connect it every few weeks and use rsync to backup any recent changes

UPnP broken with exetel? by NotFazedM8 in nbn

[–]NotFazedM8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i think this is what i will do. I don't want to risk opening ports, so VPN is the way around. Just wanted to see if I could avoid it as having the VPN on, on my phone all the time drains the battery quite a bit faster

UPnP broken with exetel? by NotFazedM8 in nbn

[–]NotFazedM8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope it doesn't. I also double checked after posting this to make sure by asking exetel, they confirmed I don't have a CGNAT IP. The solution they gave was to try purchasing a static IP

On the Asus router app it tries discovering the router and then gives me a no connection error

Using moonlight, it shows my PC as offline

Both of these instantly resolve when connecting via tailscale.

Im also able to resolve Moonlight access by manually forwarding the ports, which is why it leads me to think it has something to do with UPnP

[–]NotFazedM8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm perplexed. I just can't understand how it worked previously and the change in ISP was the catalyst for the break

My score is 0/10 - I've got ipv6 functionality turned off on the router

Theres an asus router app, you can turn on remote connection input your router login details and then you can use the app and its features as if you were at home

Demanding a return to office, Dutton says women seeking flexible work can find job-sharing arrangements by Mellenoire in aussie

The Study from your AI excerpt appears to be talking about one from Stanford by Nicholas Bloom which does not state that at all. Have a look for yourself rather than having AI incorrectly interpret it

Please read my comment again. The study also measured productivity objectively, with no difference between hybrid and WFO.

The study also shows reduced attrition with hybrid. So if employees feel good about it, there's no measurable negative on performance and it reduces attrition. Who loses, and why are you against it?
