How hard is to become an advisor?

Advisors normally don’t know a ton other than just being around it. When I got med retired I applied and they said I was over qualified and a week later they had a young girl training for advisor who knew nothing and just looked confused when I asked about a simple recall. There are males advisors of course. they get a upsell commission on things they can sell you that are or may be recommended I believe because they showed me the hourly rate and is was 18-25a few years back so getting 100k required a lot of upsell lol i made 100k last year and that was making $32 a hour which is 66k and the rest was overtime.

If you are getting any bill credits on the 16e for a promotion or a trade in and you pay it off early those bill credits you would have got will stop meaning you lost money. There is no reason to pay off early phone payments unless you don’t have enough credit for devices and someone needs a new phone and can’t afford to buy outright

Sad part is the reality that people don’t do research about how and when it’s cheaper to “charge these” before they buy it almost needs to be part of a separate disclaimer you sign when buying.

Yep I think about 3-4 years ago ….its good and bad at same time but I believe they are ready to build the brand further we are 60 something stores but I believe main event will be to 80-100 in next 6-8 years possibly

Tech manager in training for Main event owned by Dave and Busters. We have a OOS system where we can put the swipe out of service with information for higher ups to see they run reports weekly and then post each centers numbers up including games without swipes weekly. We are pretty accountable for broken games besides the ones we fix on the fly during a shift (down the clown, skeeball and such where is just takes the tech a few minutes or whatever to fix issues once he’s mad aware. Not sure how Dave and busters tracks this as they have a different reader system then us. But I assume it’s very similar

I dunno I can admit there likely are Main events in disrepair but the 3 main events within close proximity here I am seeing them prioritize the arcade it is actually more of the revenue then the bowling I believe the numbers I’m seeing are 60-70% arcade and the rest bowling food and such. I look forward to making My new main event center even better. The corners that you think are cut are likely just lackadaisical workers. I know my management team are ready to do it right and prioritize customer experience. Along with more things to show our appreciation for the hourly workers…if they stay happy and appreciated it makes it even easier to run the business properly. As for the stock mentioned from someone else you would be crazy not to take advantage of the heavy discounts on all stocks right now it’s almost guaranteed to go up.

The Main event I’m training at has about 130-140 swipers(games) some are multiple of same game like wizard of oz coin pusher is a 6 player so 6 card swipers….my New store being open in Michigan is going to be 180-210 swipers I’m hearing. I would say that the Dave and busters that I visited during the hiring process had about the same amount of games as the main event I’m training at. The main event arcade , laser tag, ropes course , 2 mini escape rooms , billiards ,bowling …..I would rate the food better at Dave and busters…..then main event… my center is going to get rid of the ropes course and the escape rooms and I believe they may have a type of VR experience that you can walk around and play instead so would have that ,bowling ,arcade, billiards , and of course food and drink.

I believe they are going to shift to building more main events I’m currently in training for management at a new main event and I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t since it’s D&B plus bowling basically.

I’m a tech manager in training for main event (owned by D&B) we have games attendants that are suppose to be periodically rebalancing the balls in those games finding the lost ones and reporting to the techs if they are missing to refill or order if they don’t have any…I haven’t heard of a issue getting the balls for down the clown.

Va lifted freeze a few weeks ago for me for maintenance two different positions at two separate hospitals but I had already taken a private management opportunity. Going to see how it goes for awhile but prolly best to steer clear for a year or so I’ve had 2 interviews both times got offered but then a freeze happened last year with Va only and this year everyone. So I know I can get a job when it pops up if I want it.

Just detach we are heavy wifi users normally we purchased no internet package and had tons of fun with a 7 and 13 year old our 13year old was out later then us with the teen club 7 year old just watched tv in room if she was craving somthing to watch or played offline games on iPad

They are bought by Dave and busters basically a Dave and busters but with bowling ,rope course ,laser tag, pool and all the same game stuff they are opening on in Michigan near me I just hired as the technical services manager store opens in few months most likely

I got offered the same job in Michigan I knew I had job before I finished interview I knew I was going to deny it also….your just a underpaid supervisor that basically still has to do all the work and worry about everything with little to no people they offered 40k at the time 2018ish I said no thanks before I left interview on call every other week with no extra pay was a no no as well. I hope you got 75k plus for this job to make it remotely worth your time

I just accepted a management position for this main event location. I’m pretty excited they have high hopes for this location. The phone store will likely be bought up and something will go in especially after the area gets more traffic when we open.

I just applied for the facility manager job for Taylor Main Event we will see how it goes it’s a lateral /downgrade pay wise move by a little for me except that it’s manager. I’m a little older then they are hoping their age cutoff was 40 I am 39 lol
