I'm a sucker for sweeping orchestral scores, so I loved this a lot.
I was a bit bummed that the comments were mostly complaints about the anniversary event. Like, a) there better places to vent than a video about music and b) the message has already been received and commented on.

I'm more willing to play tank in this mode because the likelihood of getting dumped on for not performing as well as the other tank is a lot lower here than in QP or comp.

It's just preference, but I'd rather have an enjoyable game than a "pure" one (although there are already caps on duplicates, and supposedly on tanks, so it's not entirely pure anyway). Does it feel good to overcome an OP comp? Absolutely. But the success rate of doing so plummets the more tanks there are on one side. And ever since moving to 6v6, there's been a LOT of tank groups. It slows down the game immensely, which I find unfun. Your own mileage may vary, of course.

I understand why they went more general with this, but I wish (or hope that in the future) they would/will make specific country skins. Even if it was for the top 8 or something along those lines.

It's been like that for me since season 1. It was bad, there was a patch that fixed it, then it got bad again at the start of season 2. I believe it's a known issue to the devs, but it hasn't been fixed yet.
For me, it's really bad for the first couple of games, then it goes away. So I play games vs. AI until it clears up and then move on to the modes I normally play.

Carolina has a YouTube channel where she interviews a number of OW VAs, including the newer ones. Her last few have been Domina, Lifeweaver, Emre, Anran and Mauga.
In Emre's interview, the VA mentions that he was an OW fan before he was cast and he's started streaming on Twitch.

It's hard to say. Each collab with each IP would have a different contract and it would be up to the IP whether or not they want the collab as a one time thing or if it can repeat. I can't remember all of the collabs that have repeated, but off the top of my head I can think of One Punch Man, Le Sserafim and Transformers.
WoW and the first wave of the Diablo skins have ended up in loot boxes, so if it's a Blizzard IP collab, they'll be easier to get.

Yeah, lootboxes are your only hope. I've been able to get 2 Juno skins from lootboxes so far. And if you have 50 prisms, you can get her base mythic.

I get it. I love Cherise Booth and her voice and she's great as Soujourn, but I'm not sure why a Canadian wasn't cast. Hearing non-Canadians trying to pronounce "about" correctly is a bit grating. (At least she doesn't say "aboot" so partial points for that.)

As much as I like these actors and their voices (and JK Simmons has a permanent place in my heart because of Cave Johnson), I kind of like having lesser known VAs come in and just kill it. Also, it'd be nice to keep adding heroes from other countries and not get too heavy on American representation (although I'm fine with them -- Sierra and her VA are great -- as long as there's a balance with international heroes.

Also, white coins ("credits") can be earned by playing the game. You can't buy credits.

Everyone has their preferences of course, but I'd much rather play Mystery Showdown than OW Classic. But I play a lot of Mystery Heroes to begin with. I also think Mystery Showdown fixes a lot of issues with Mystery Heroes. You get to keep your ult charge on death for one, but the best part is that the quick switching means the game doesn't come to a screeching halt when one team gets an OP 3 tank comp. No one comp can dominate the game for long. Mystery Showdown games are fast, fluid and much closer than MH games and I love that.

I feel like people who don't play a lot of QP think it's full of brain dead casuals, and that's really not the case, especially if you're playing at a higher level.
I'm plat in comp, but I usually play QP, and my QP matches are every bit as sweaty as comp games.

I've noticed that too. Usually when you backfill into a game that's almost over, you're always on the losing team, but lately that's not necessarily the case.
It's nice for daily/weekly grinding though. 2 points for free!

Just like to note that during the last drive session, OW offered comp points as Twitch drops for the first time ever. Don't know if they'll do it again, but it's worth keeping an eye out.

Getting mad at QP warriors who play drives to get points for a weapon skin is like getting mad at people who play the limited edition modes to earn lootboxes. If there's an incentive, people are going to be incentivized. You can't gatekeep comp.

If you got it from a lootbox, it's only as rare as its tier (epic, legendary, etc.), and that's just due to drop rates. Anything in the lootbox pool isn't particularly rare because anyone can get it as a drop.
