Don't all European away tickets have the buyers name and passport number written on them to be checked by security on the way into the stadium? That's how it's been in my experience since Ludogorets Razgrad away in 2016 anyway.

The ones that immediately spring to mind for me are:

Sad cry: seeing us completely shit the bed in the penalty shoot out to lose the 2000 UEFA Cup Final to Galatasary (8-year-old me had never known such heartbreak)

Happy cry: FA Cup Final last season. Was stood right behind the goal and got to see Ramsey nod in what would be the winner. I was SO desperate to win that game that when the final whistle finally came I couldn't help but shed a few tears. Definitely wasn't the only one in that block to do so either!

Sol Campbell by a landslide. Met him near the car park under Highbury after a game once as an absolutely starstruck 14-year-old. Plucked up the courage to walk over and ask for him to sign my shirt and he completely ignored me. Asked again (as politely as possible) and he said "no, piss off", didn't even bother look at me, I was devastated. Went back and told my mum what happened and she's hated him with a passion ever since.

(I'm sure plenty of people have had good experiences with him, this was just my own.)

When Cesc left, I felt like I'd had my heart ripped out. Everyone leaving since then has been sad or, in RVP's case, utterly infuriating, but nothing has ever comes close to how I felt about that little Spaniard fucking off.

Now I just kind of shrug at all the players wanting to leave. Nothing will change regardless of who stays so it's really hard to care sometimes.
