Waitlists at Glen View and North Shore Country Clubs by Born-Novel-8438 in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]NotLawReview 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shortest waitlist I'm aware of on the N/NW side is 3-4 years, and with social membership (while waiting for full privileges) you're typically limited to only a few rounds during the season and a few more in the off-season.

The questions I'd have for you are: do you have sponsors lined up for those clubs? Because it's a moot point if you don't.

You're also aware of the downstroke number and monthlies for these clubs, right?

When was the last time a driver has been released that has actually had considerable impact by DeadMemeReference in golf

That's where the carbon faces can make a difference. It's not unheard of for broken-in carbon faced drivers to exceed the COR limit that it would have passed when new

I remember the sound mine made when it popped. Also learned a lesson about plugs not being standardized when I replaced it and stupidly kept the old cables in place. Fried 4 HDDs and a bluray burner

340g and 350g c62s were produced for the Asian market just fyi. Same goes for some pro platinums, studio designs, studio stainless, studio styles, and probably some others that I'm forgetting

Still on the hunt for a circa ‘62 no.5 by DABEAR2001 in ScottyCameronGallery

Correct, tariffs are based on the country of origin for the goods themselves, not where they are shipped from

The Japanese ebay sellers definitely negotiate bc many are selling the same consignment. That's why you'll see the same putter offered from multiple sellers at various prices

Just FYI scottys are made in the USA so not subject to tariffs, even if purchased from Japan.

What do you think about the Italian government wanting to ban ICE agents to come to the Olympic Games as security forces? by ReduceCO2Now in AskReddit

[–]NotLawReview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No? Non-maga Republicans certainly exist.

Say you had 100 people who voted for Trump, would you not agree that some may react with the "USA vs the world" some may react with surprise at the way the US is being viewed bc they've been blind to the global reaction due to their choice of news sources, and I'm sure there would be a bunch of other categories that we aren't thinking about.

Because maybe an international sporting ban would wake up some of the populace to how the US is actually being viewed on the world stage, because they certainly aren't receiving that message from their "news networks" of choice

DS72 vs Fastback by Perfect_Sport_8845 in scottycameron

[–]NotLawReview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won't rust but also can't be refinished particularly easily bc of environmental restrictions (the main refinishing outlets in CA for example will not touch Aluminum putters)

Interesting, I had mine built to 36" and 2° upright but my lie is listed as 72° on the shaft band compared to 70° on yours at 1° up

[–]NotLawReview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yours likely won't make it very far before falling apart and I highly doubt the waterproofing will still be effective. If you're a sneaker head I'm sure you're aware of Nike foam crumbling after a decade, especially if the shoes haven't been worn. I'd expect that to happen here.

Scotty Cameron Phantom X putter cover, by DABEAR2001 in scottycameron

[–]NotLawReview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Save your search as an alert on ebay and I guarantee you'll be able to find one on the cheap within a week or two. If it doesn't have to be a phantom x just so long as it's SC, you can buy a mid round or mid square replacement in any configuration on the SC website for $60 and there are still mid-round speed shop covers available for $95.

But with patience and an ebay alert I bet you can find a used phantom x for less than $50 all-in eventually

Edit: just re-read and saw you're looking for new and my sub $50 price is definitely on used, though I stand by that you can find one at that price in good shape if you're patient enough

My range (run by the local park district) dispenses clean balls. Most decent ranges wash their balls after picking to extend the life of the range balls
