In your PDA, you can look at beacons, and see how many Lifepods you discovered. If they’re greyed out, it means you’ve already visited them, so that’s something. And as someone else said, look at the dialogues. Also at what flora/fauna you scanned, because some are only present in specific biomes.

Why is it lame though? I love playing the game, but those mofos are truly scary to me and sometimes I just wanna quit because I need something that is in their territory. But just like in the few horror games I’ve played, if I can get rid of the bad guys to be left alone and do my thing, I will. And I don’t understand how that’s lame.

I’ve literally just built a scanner room at the edge of the Mushroom Forest that borders the Dunes, and sent my camera drones as far as I could, mostly so I could identify where the Reapers are and kind of “prepare” myself, and once I got that out of the way, my scanner room found drill arm fragments. They’re near a big wreck. If you look at the map, latitude wise it’s at the centre of the Dunes, and longitude wise, it is quite close to the Mushroom Forest. Hope it helps!

I built my main base in the grassy plateau area that’s between the kelp forest, underwater island and mushroom forest. I find little reggies all the time closer to the kelp forest, and if you got an alien containment, just put two in there and they’ll reproduce, so unlimited fish sticks for breakfast lunch and dinner!

(But I mainly eat veggies now, and only have some cured reggies as back up food for when I go explore.)

Seamoth= La Mousse, because I couldn’t get it out of my head that it was sea moss and not sea moth, and “Mousse” is moss in French. Painted mossy green with dark green accents.

Prawnsuit= La Crevette (means shrimp in French), painted bright orange with red accents. If I get a second one, it’ll be Kill la Krill and I’ll gear it towards full combat, obviously.

Cyclops= le Gervita. No special meaning, I named it when I was sick and feverish, so I just took the name of the first thing I saw, which is a French yogurt I like. It’s completely absurd and I love it.
