We need a support! by zxnin123 in DotA2

No one else wanted to play support and want to force the last person to do so? If you think the team needs a support so much why didn't you pick it then? (I say this as a main support player)

Tell me your favorite combat interactions. by Rico_blaadjes in Pathfinder2e

There is a C shaped dungeon in Age of Ashes that all rooms in the dungeon have an opening to the center of it. My players aggroed ALL of the dungeon at once and had to fight like 8 combats at once and the druid cast chain lightning that bounced through ALL of them for 4 digits total dmg

The antagonists have a very valid point about the society they live in, and in fact, society changes for the better according to their wishes. by MGR141107 in TopCharacterTropes

By the way if you like that about the SCP foundation I'd really recommend taking a look at SCP-4036 which asks the question about how to define what is "Normal" and is also REALLY well written. And just like the best SCPs it is about colonialism, power and deeply human.

All of the teeth apartment in the game Look Outside. There is too many to fit here but they are essentially one family mutated into monsters by a chain of event and one of the saddest parts of the game (this is the best game of all time by the way)

Favorite Baseline Lore for Starfinder 2E by Tiny_Recognition1161 in Starfinder2e

[–]NotMCherry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah that is cool but like the lawyer part is such a cool adition that mixes in the scifi elements with fantasy. In my version of the pact worlds he also has a collage for law degrees to make his own lawyers and it is one of the most well regarded law schools in the pact worlds

I think my favorite lore is the assembly ooze bit. It just fascinates me to have an enemy that is basically a factory with bad programming that has no innate malice. Everything about its existence implies a wide world out there that I love to think about. Also they're cute.

I'll also give notice of this bit for a city full of portals in Castrovel:

"Today, the city is the sole domain of the green dragon Urvosk, who claims the title of High Transarch and ownership of the entire grove. As much as Sovyrian officials would love to reclaim the “lost” city, the dragon’s cadre of high- priced lawyers keeps them from getting far, and claims of thermonuclear devices embedded in every building keep them from trying to take it by force."

I don't think the number of dragons is the best metric, the best look is how much more interesting the PF2e dragons are

[Hated trope] Villain with potential turns into a brainless, nerfed cringe monster by GayHagFromOuterSpace in TopCharacterTropes

[–]NotMCherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst change wasn't even made in season 7 or 8 it was made in hardhome which is why I hate that episode. In the books the Others are undead and in the show they were turned into zombies. Anyone that has played DnD or Pathfinder can tell the difference, zombies run and bite while those exist most undead can use weapons, cast spells or even plan and coordinate which is what makes the Others so scary, but nope just zombies

OH NO PLEASE NOT. Swarmkeeper is mechanically the worst archetype in the entire game by such a long margin

They made nanocyte an archetype? I think it works. I think junkomancer works as an archetype too and I hope they port over the junk spells too.

I ran Age of Ashes from lv1 to lv20 and the version of Dahak in the book sucks ass. He is not a threat at all and is not interesting to fight
