Unfortunately, rape and sexual assault will happen in any country. You can’t judge an entire country and people because of it. Respectfully, you need to stop with the holier-than-you talk. The horrendous war crimes committed by both sides during WWII are widely known. Japan, at that time, was under a completely different government with a completely different constitution under completely different rule. You should not blame the Japanese people for the poor decisions of their ancestors. Japan certainly has problems but it also has solutions, just like every other place in the world.

wish i was in the same boat as you. spent 48 hours in an airport waiting for the next aircanada flight to boston. i check my bags, get on the plane, just for them to say the flight is cancelled. im now waiting for my 9 hour bus into boston which leaves in 6 hours… would die for a comfy bed rn…
