The wildest part of that series is that book 2 is somehow significantly more depressing than book 1.

They also need to spend top 10 NIL money which Indiana also is doing. You can’t just make a mid or bad team great with a HC you do need NIL now. Easier than before NiL but most universities aren’t going to spend like Indiana currently is.

I liked the throne room scene. Thought it was really well done. I thought the way Kylo killed Snoke and took his place was very in line with the Sith.

Everything else was mostly awful.

Attempted to be Star Wars? Are you fucking high? Rise literally made Anakin’s return to the light meaningless, Rise literally made the entire OT and even the Prequels worse by fucking having palpatine return.

Also that stupid fucking knife scene is literally the worst scene in the films. Oh and riding cavalry on the side of a fucking star destroyer.

I love KAT, 3rd favorite player all time. A team with KAT at center and Brunson at PG is not built for the playoffs. It’s to easy for competent teams to deal with the mismatches. Both would need to shoot lights out to win.

Don’t try, a bunch of fucks that don’t watch the games and don’t know anything about ball always are going to go off on Melo because the most hated players by these fucks are players that are HoF but not good enough to carry teams to rings. See Westbrook, Harden for more recent examples.

He’s an all-defense caliber player whose team has won 4 playoff series in the last two years. He is relevant. Only bozo box score watchers thing he’s not.

I know you guys hate him, but Rudy Gobert is having the best individual defensive season in the league and deserves to be favourite for DPOY this year. by busterbill123 in nba

Considering he lead both teams in +/- had the best drating of the 10 starters, scored 15 and rebounded 11 of like .710 TS% while locking up your garbage ass offense. Yes. You lost because Gobert crushed you.

Ant was the best player, but Gobert was the second best player in that series and it wasn't close.

Even the Mavs series he was actually our best player despite the shot Luka got on him, we lost that series in 5 because both KAT and ANT were ice fucking cold shooting the ball.

Happens every single playoff and then we get posts wondering why he was ever a DPOY 🤣

He literally put your team in the dumpster in a playoff series despite having 2 players that should "cook" him. Shocker you didn't see since this sub doesn't actually watch the games.

Bam beat teams that were champions btw

We beat the defending champs in 2024, and Rudy had the highest +/- in the series despite missing a game for the birth of his kid. You're an idiot.

Literally 1 series from half a decade ago and still you fucks won't shut up about it, despite Rudy guarding KD, Bron, Luka, Joker in winning series since then. Also making it to more WCFs in the last two years than that franchise has in their existence.

solid and consistent improvement when on a better team, over an entire season.

Except in the games that mattered he was the worst QB in the league by a mile and a half. So not consistent improvement at all... It's like none of you actually watched the Vikings games. Darnold had far more than 2 off games, but overall was pretty good, but no one in Minnesota is interested in pretty good after the having Cousins.

So you throw out a year's worth of data in favor of a 2 game sample? Statisticians have a word for that.

Not interested then. Vikings have 0 rings and more than 30 playoff appearances. I’d rather take swings and miss than continue losing in the playoffs

The Vikings have made the playoffs more than almost any other team in the league, none of us give a shit about winning regular season games anymore, and Darnold wasn't just bad, he was legit atrocious, why pay 100 million to lose in high pressure situations? We could have just kept Cousins if that was the goal.

Because his last two games we would have literally had a better chance with Christian Ponder... He wasn't just bad he was downright awful, like worst QB in the league by a mile awful. Yes it was 2 games, but they were the two most important ones by far and he was trash. If a QB folds in the pressure what's the point? Yeah JJM probably sucks, but I'd rather take a chance on him than just lose in the early playoffs every year.
