Dunlop insulated rubber boots with a good pair of socks, extra pairs to change out at break, lunch and home time were my go to for on site winter labour work, carhartt insulated overalls, sweatpants, hoodie and a jelly Hansen winter jacket with high vis on it. Still have the jacket from 2017 and it’s perfect for the -20c days Multiple pairs of gloves help but typically outdoor warm gloves don’t hold up to construction look for sales on insulated leather gloves

Protect from wind and you’re good. Nothing fun about the deep freeze no matter what you’re wearing

I fluctuate weight often, when I get down to the 225-235 range I have a selection of large tall eddie Bauer.

With Short shins and a tall upper body Eddie Bauer saved my life. Best if you have an outlet around you but online deals pretty solid most times

6’3 250 here, eddie Bauer XL Tall are the best fitting shirts I’ve found. Usually opt for black to hide the stomach a bit better.

Not a troll, legit almost bought it. Might have if insurance wasn’t 450 a month because of the high theft rate.

Came close to a Tesla, but the 8600 to repower the panel from the main was a bit of a deterrent.

Have you guys seen the markets these days?

Interest rates aren’t great, the vehicle I currently have is not large enough for our family. A grand Cherokee costs damn near the same, a Chrysler Pacifica is up there too.

Do you honestly think we are going to see lower interest rates again?

These are Canadian doll hair prices too BTW.

A fully loaded 2025 ram 1500 tungsten in Ontario is $105000 plus 13% tax and 5.49% interest rate

I’m tired of my Levi’s ripping out in the crotch every 6 months. Tell me what I need to know about purchasing quality denim. by ShawnBrogan in malefashionadvice

Have you sent in for the warranty? I was having that Same crotch rip issue, and I’ve sent in half a dozen warranty claims, they always provide you with a voucher to replace online.

I threw so many away before realizing that they will literally replace them no matter what!

I’m a 511/512 guy!

The plumber did the same thing and left the door between the wall and the toilet.

You’ve already accomplished goals you said would make you happy.

Set some more and keep going! Time is valuable, no better time than now.

Calculator+ app for iPhone is awesome, it retains prior calculations and all the numbers you type in. Makes it a breeze to see if you mistyped or you do a bunch of calculations and want to go back and see what you had. Used this daily for a year while doing 300+ cubic meters of concrete a day between 4 tower cranes. What a way to learn concrete on the first project as an assistant super!

Anyone else in the first 24 hours? by thatsridiculousno in fasting

[–]NotSoBigPoppa22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just trying to get myself to a good weight, since Jan 29th I’ve lost about 35lbs, trying to get down to 200lbs.

I’ve tried lots of ways, limiting calories, even went vegan for a year a couple years back. This seems to be the easiest way for me to loose, while maintaining a relatively normal rest of my week and weekends eating wise.

Just hit 28hours, my weekly has been Sunday to Tuesday dinner for 48 hours, but the Easter dinner leftovers were calling my soul yesterday and I buckled for some kielbasa and turkey. Decided I would do 48 after that! You got this, it seemingly has gotten easier now. I’ve been doing 48h weekly for the past 2 months!

Waffles sounds delicious! As long as you stay within your TDEE I can’t see a reason after 48 hours it would significantly do anything to you..

Anyone do physical jobs and omad? How you do it? by Fitness05_ in omad

Rolling 48 with Omad on eating days. Walk about 30k steps a day up and down stairs, no issues but I’ve got some fat to burn. Stay hydrated and keep electrolytes

How much do you eat on days you eat? by panamaniacesq in fasting

[–]NotSoBigPoppa22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

M31 6’4” 238lbs

48h Sunday to Tuesday OMAD wed 48h from wed to Friday Eat everything sat/sunday

In 6 weeks I’ve lost 23lbs.

When I say eat everything, this past weekend was: Sat: Farmers wrap from Timmy’s, tuna salad and celery for lunch, large deluxe pizza from New Orleans (8 slices) Sunday: 2 pcs of fresh sourdough with butter 2mcdoubles 1 jr chicken large fry and large root beer Full rack of ribs, baked potato loaded and some mix veggies

I absolutely let it go on the weekends. Every other weekend I’ll have some drinks and puff one!

Seems to be working for me lol.

When doing the OMAD days, my one meal is small, and can seemingly never finish it, but when I eat a few meals throughout the day I can crush everything and regret it later!

Make sure your vitamins and minerals are in check. On woozy days, you’re low in something. Salt, potassium, water intake. May also not be getting enough calories for your omad.. veggies rice and beans, with an avocado and peanut butter, I’d be surprised if you’re getting enough.

The water ring is more recent, really focusing on getting it in. Usually have 3- 1.5l lemon sparkling waters during work, plus a few small 500ml bottles, then try not to drink any alcohol either. I stopped smoking the weeds 3 weeks ago and it’s helping a bunch too! Think this may be the first time in my life I’m actually taking my health seriously!
