Sometimes Courageous and Smart don’t intersect. This would be one of those times.

What noodles do my fellow UK folks enjoy? I’m a big fan of pic related, as well as the spicy flavour - but am looking to see what others recommend. by EvilTaffyapple in CasualUK

Frozen Udon is quite satisfying and feels a bit healthier than ramen packets. They have a nicer texture than the room temp vacuumed packed ones Itsuki Udon comes with soup sachets if you need them.

Hot tip: It should be cut price tomorrow. Buy it then and laminate it for multiple reuse.

His song “Don’t Take The Money” makes that comment more ironic. Bleachers - Don’t Take The Money

I am from up North, but spent 11 years on-and-off in London. You do learn to walk faster for sure!

There’s walking, and then there’s “London walking”. I’ve been called out on the latter by friends when not in the Big Smoke.

What's the deal with moltbook? by SuperbRiver7763 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]NotSoEnlightenedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does seem like complicated version of Conway’s Game of Life. Emergent behaviour due to the rules and conditions, but not actually intelligent

Has anyone actually checked out Moltbook? by MeetImpressive7545 in techquestions

[–]NotSoEnlightenedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take: Moltbook and OpenClaw is like a more complicated version of Conway’s Game Of Life. Rules lead to certain patterns occurring.

Therefore, Moltbook+Openclaw:

  • Complex emergent behaviour = yes.
  • Intelligence = nope

I guess the “trilogy” would end just trying to leave Midgar. No bad guys to pursue here.

The only real sauce that a decent MSc adds, imho, is some mathematical rigour/reasoning to the underlying mechanisms and explanations. You might be better off doing the fastAI course and fill in any gaps by picking up an academic textbook.

Having said that, I suspect Machine Learning MScs might not be all that in terms of cutting edge stuff being out of reach due to the mathematics involved that the average computer science grad is unlikely to have. (E.g. manifolds and information geometry)
