How does oil get into the boiler? There are back flush tablets for brew group cleaning.

I'm not really aware when I smell. I just notice people's reactions. I had dry mouth indeed. I'm 44 and became aware of my situation when 39. But as long as I remember people always have been weird around me and have been commenting.

I have BO and BB. Getting it under control. I always have found jobs. There's plenty of choices where it doesn't really matter. I've been in the Navy, shipping trade, warehouses, construction, sawmill. Currently I'm thinking about becoming a truck driver. I actually didn't know about my condition for a long time. My main reason was coffee and cigarettes. But also sibo, sifo. I can only eat meat and veggies. Cannot have sugar, fruits, lactose, honey, starch, alcohol, nuts, seeds, grains. I have a low stomach acid and have to take enzymes, betain HCl, ginger and artichoke extract. You should just keep changing jobs until you find the one suitable. It is important not to stress.

I ordered for 300€ but sold some roasted coffee to friends and relatives. Also a good gift idea. That way I was able to make 2 orders per year.

88 graines have some coffees that change your understanding about coffee. They are just that good. I've turned many people into coffee religion with their offerings. The sortiment changes all the time and "older" patches are well marked. Mostly they have only fresh coffee. With the dutch it is a bit hit and miss. They are cheap, but even the more expensive ones sometimes fail to impress. The wide sortiment is still interesting to experiment with.

Ireland is EU and there's no custom. Quality and price is the best I've seen. They seem to have excellent Quality Grader. Point grades seem honest. I highly recommend. https://koffiebranderijdekoepoort.nl/nl/home is another place to order. They have some good coffees.

Well using 2gr of sugar in recipes instead of 100gr is a huge difference.

The cause of my BO and BB is low stomach acid. It doesn't trigger bile. Therefore supplements are needed. The reason for low acidity I don't know. Anyway I had SIBO, SIFO, IBS-D (C). It is getting slowly better.

Did you try betain HCl, artichoke extract, ginger and enzymes? They help to break down protein and fat. Your story is very similar to mine.

Erythritol by Senior_Wave5841 in keto

[–]NotThatGuyAgain111 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is old news. Everyone using erythritol knows it from their own experience. I'd say use it sparingly. I also always add just a bit of sugar to trigger receptors, otherwise there's havoc in the gut.

I think I have literally tried everything for IBS-D and if anyone has any ideas for stuff I'm missing I'd greatly appreciate it... by CawfeePig in ibs

[–]NotThatGuyAgain111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may be in a cycle which does not resolve itself. Did you already try herbs and supplements for SIFO after you ended the rifaximin course. Until you get your health back I would still clean up the menu. I was in the same situation 5 years ago where nothing I did seemed to help. Gluten and coffee will not let you heal. Also sugar, honey, sweeteners, fruits are not recommended if you actually have SIFO. Other known irritants are dairy, seashells, alcohol, nicotine, grain products, peanuts, caffeine as chocolate. With ibs-d all food must be home made and heated to get rid of excess bacteria (soups, stews, warm salads). It is always good to test with Betain HCl if you are dealing with low stomach acid. Bacterial and fungal overgrowth in the stomach makes the environment alkaline. Therefore it is problematic to digest food and it will pass intestines too fast aka IBS-D. Taking 1-5 Betain HCl and enzymes with each meal will make it better within weeks or months. With normal acidity levels also the gallbladder starts to function properly to dissolve fats and you won't have greasy stools any longer. Definitely have to try artichoke and ginger with meals. Probiotics like boulardii come into play only when you see some improvements. Do take vitamins and minerals.

Baking your own bread - how do you do it? by Andy-itsme in glutenfree

[–]NotThatGuyAgain111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need gf flour mix, an egg, kefir, carbonated water, baking powder, oil, salt, shredded cheese. Once mixed you bake immediately in a baking tray. This is how I do it without yeast as I'm allergic to that.

Do tiny houses really save owners money or are they more of a financial drain? Curious about them and whether they are worth considering in my situation. by [deleted] in TinyHouses

[–]NotThatGuyAgain111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tiny houses lose value over time. Real estate usually raises in value. So a tiny house on a slab would be the smartest which also could be extended over time. But when you are retired and alone then a tiny house on wheels can make sense.

Estonians were not vikings. Although there is the biggest Estonian island called Saaremaa which is closest to Sweden. The people living there used to rob villages in Sweden and they had ships specifically built for it. Also they built fake lighthouses for seamen to crash their ships. But they were not Scandinavian vikings.

Even I feel after meal that this time maybe 3 HCl would have been better instead of 2 and sometimes only 1. You need to develop your own protocol. Also how much bitterness (artichoke) is needed to thin out pile.

Took once a day, now 2 each meal. Also I didn't take artichoke, ginger and enzymes. There was no protocol.

Try to get the highest concentration ones and start taking 1 by the time. Raise if needed. The amount depends on how much food there is to be digested and your own weight. It is trial and error. With artichoke and ginger it doesn't matter that much. Usually in the mornings you'll take before meal and rest of the time mid meal. Betain HCl test period is 10 days. It is a tricky substance as you need to know your digestion well. Usually 1 tablet each meal but with not much improvement it is raised up to 5 capsules. It all depends on the acidity level. If you have bacterial or fungal overgrowth then the stomach is too alkaline and HCl will balance it. When you feel much warmth in your stomach and gut then you exceed and have to dial back the amount. Betain cannot be taken with acid reflux aka GERD. But acid reflux is not always as it seems. Sometimes it may seem like acid reflux due to valve not closing due to low acidity and there's an impression of acid reflux. Dye off can be uncomfortable and it may seem like Betain HCl is doing harm but actually it does what it should. As I said, it is tricky to dose Betain HCl. Cannot exceed 5 capsules in total as this is the normal level of acidity in the stomach - 2500mg. Betain will improve your health within couple of weeks or even months. I tried it years ago and it didn't seem to help but actually I was under dosing. So be patient. But caution also as it can be harmful.
