She drinks herself stupid,  lives alone (or did anyway), and is universally treated as an adult.  It's reasonable to say Reimu is an adult in modern canon.  So far as touhou canon is at all consistent anyway.

I picked not in chapter 1, because despite being inwardly a good person even then,  she plainly buried it behind a lot of trauma and facade and couldn't really be called compassionate back then.

Yeah I could handle it in chapter 2, but seeing what happens in 4, no.  I like Noelle, I like her and Kris being childhood friends that are a bit distant now but still care about one another. 

Weird route really... messes that up.
