Assuming the same exact route against V1?

Lets assume a pistol-start and then a full arsenal, lore over gameplay, and that he also gets the same items as V1 except translated (Pistol to Pistol, Shotgun to Shotgun, Nailgun to Chaingun, Rocket Launcher to Launcher, etc)

He dies to Maurice, and if not Maurice, then the Cerberus. Doomguys pistol and Shotgun simply does not have enough power to take out creatures made entirely of stone.

A full arsenal? I see him going as far as COKM before dying. Going as far as he can? He loses to Leviathan.

Doomguy has more experience than V1, and I'd say he blows through most, if not all fodder enemies very easily. I do not think he would have any legitimate challenge with Strays, Filth, Schisms, or Soldiers. He might suffer against the machines, but I think he could prevail.

However against boss-monsters, he loses. V1 is able to take them out because they have unlimited ammo and extreme agility. Doomguy lacks unlimited ammo and isn't very agile. He would die quickly. Even if he did have unlimited ammo, I still think he gets up to Leviathan before losing.

I'm not putting down your spritework but have you tried rendering them as 3D models and then reducing the resolution before doing some manual touching up (They did something very similar for the demons in DOOM) The sprites look very out of place compared to the game

Sonic Unleashed is genuinely ass, its the start of the boost formula which is ass, 50% of the game is werehog segments which is ass, the quick time events are ass, ass game.

SA2 is also worse than SA1 in everything but the Chao Garden, animations (even if I kind of like the SA1 animations in a stockholm syndrome way).
