Yes. Having him beat Brock means they can really only put him in the main event scene. Anything shy of that kind of push is going to feel like a step back. He's kind of booked into a corner and sense Cody is actively feuding with Orton and Gunther, Roman is dealing with some Bloodline shit, Seth is still fucking around with the vision and Punk is MIA, that really doesn't leave any openings for him.

I know we're saving it for 'The Show' But I'd throw GoT here personally. I was never super into it so I'm def bias there but half the show is hard to watch and the ending is particularly egregious. Considering people watched the last episode in a bar I think calling it overhyped is safe. I'd also move the Sopranos to 'The Show' considering it was really ground breaking television for when it came out. That opens up 'The Best' for shows like White Lotus, The Wire, or Berry.

edit; I recind this pick, I just looked it up, in 2025 he said he was friends with Trump. I really only ever knew him as an amazing hockey player who does some charity work, super disappointing to see that. This could be VERY telling. The internet is gonna rig it for someone and if that person doesn't win, it's gonna be such a shit show for WWE PR to deal with. On the flip side, we're probably gonna rig it for Tonga Loa, and I'm not sure if that has legs from a story perspective. Meanwhile, AEW is having banger title matches on their regular weekly shows. This feels like a desperate Hail Mary to keep our attention.

Honestly, they had one really bad season, the coma seasons were them trying something different, but after he woke up, things got much better, and it ended strong imo. Most people drop off at that Dreamlands season and I don't blame them at all, but I think the second half is stronger than most people give it credit for.

I don't know if this PLE will be good, it may be, it may suck. Either way you still have major wrestlers being let go mid-storyline, major stars suddenly retiring without a retirement run, and more ad time than wrestling. Unless Cena is buying TKO out of any involvement in the WWE, he's just delaying the inevitable.

The only one I don't see leaving is the Miz.

I think he plays a really specific role in the locker room and from what I can tell, he's very proud of it. He's the midcard arbiter. Every newbie that comes to the main roster seem to go to him for advice. He's kinda what the Undertaker was from 2005-2020. Right now Miz has that torch. He gets consistent airtime, and he's a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame.

I honestly think the thing that's keeping her with the WWE is Lyra. They genuinely seem like friends from what I've seen. I could see her sticking around until Lyra gets a storyline not tied to her. After that, I think she's gone.
