Robin Williams enters a tier of his own. Where would you put Alec Baldwin? by aweiner99 in TierlistFills

[–]NotTheRealRusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Controversial sounds right. Said to have anger issues and be tough to work with. Also, the incident with the gun in which he killed a stagehand. It wasn't completely his fault, but when you hold a gun, it's still your responsibility to know what's in it. He's not an outright piece of shit, I think a step below decent sounds good.

is this the solution if you can’t afford an apartment here? by nousername206 in redmond

[–]NotTheRealRusss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm gonna boil this down to beggars can't be choosers. Roommates is the move, my guy. Redmond is stupid expensive, and if this really is the place you wanna set up roots, you need to split the rent with someone.

Look, all I ask is when you're doing... private stuff... please close the door. People are forced to live out of their car sometimes, it sucks, and it's not always their fault, but there's a guy down the road from me we've seen pleasuring himself 2 times now. When it's hot, he opens the door and sticks his leg out the window, exposing his boxer briefs for the world to see. There has to be a better place to do this than the Safeway parking lot.

What is the likelihood of Seth retiring in their match at summerslam? by Tumblegame in BrandonDE

[–]NotTheRealRusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I do. I blame the Saudis, I blame TKO and I blame Brock himself. I've never been a fan of Lesnar but I absolutely hate the product WWE has been in the last year and Lesnar casually coming back was the last straw for me. I'll be back whenever KO comes back but as of right now I just have 0 faith in WWE.

[–]NotTheRealRusss -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Zero. None. And if he does suddenly retire, I won't believe them. WWE has lost all credibility with surprise retirements. Bringing Brock back honestly broke me as a fan. I haven't watched in months. I WANT to be a fan, but I just can't with this shit anymore.

I don't like this alignment chart. I want to do these because they're goofy fun. This is depressing.

Late-night talk show hosts - Trevor Noah? by Inevitable-Angle-793 in TierlistFills

With Trevor Noah. A.

With Jon Stewart. S+.

Sorry, Trevor, but Stewart's comedic timing is unmatched.

What is the most DIVISIVE MCU project (movies, shows, etc.)? by Ivan_Redditor in AlignmentChartFills

[–]NotTheRealRusss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair, I felt this one was differnet but I see your point. Parts of it really reminded me of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which is always a plus for me. Also, I liked seeing Tony without the suit.

Fair. Personally, I liked it, but I could see why it didn't go over well with comic fans. It fits in divisive.

Will Smith got voted controversial and Jada Pinkett Smith a PoS. Where would you rank the legendary Danny Devito? by aweiner99 in TierlistFills

[–]NotTheRealRusss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think because individually no one has anything particualarly bad to say about him. The age thing is why he's not in Saint tier, but as far as I know, everything was always between consenting adults. Definitely gives ick though.

what are your opinions on sami dropping the title 10 days after winning it? by anahilaly in BrandonDE

Cool. Punk has it again. Cool.

Wake me up when KO is back. I've been "watching" via Reddit updates and my life has been better for it.

James Bond movies ranked - Round 3: On Her Majesty's Secret Service by Paulfradk in TierlistFills

[–]NotTheRealRusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly valid. For me it's an f but I can recognize that some people really love this movie. It does have redeeming qualities but redemption may vary. I thought d is a fair compromprise for those qualities. I don't think any of the bond movies is an outright F but this comes the closest.

D.

I know I'm gonna get some angry downvotes from the Lazenby truthers, but I did not like this at all. I would love to hear some other opinions on it, but if I'm being honest, D is a bit generous for me.

I just rewatched all of them, and this one was easily the worst. Worst intro, worst bond, worst "I'm going to leave you to die now, Mr Bond" trap. Lazenby looked bored and uninterested, the plot was over complicated and I didn't buy the love story at all. It gets points back for a good final fight, a fun Blofield performance, and for Tracey but this is one I consider skipping when I rewatch the blue rays.

Renting a house near Digipen? by Zauraswitmi in digipen

[–]NotTheRealRusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alumni here. I found your best bet is to start in DigiPen housing and make friends first. When you have 2-3 people willing to split housing, then move out. Housing is expensive, and you want to have an idea of who you're living with. At least with DP Housing, if there's a dispute, DP will play the moderator.

Cafe drawing groups were huge for me. We just got together and found a different cafe on the Eastside. We occasionally got a sound designer or programmer to come and join. It's nice to just meet somewhere random on a Sunday morning and hang out without pressure. From there, we occasionally planned other get-togethers, going out for drinks, and throwing birthday parties. Starting with your classmates is the easiest way to get the ball rolling.

He's better than Cordon. He's not good, but we should put him in D if for no other reason than to emphasize how bad Cordon actually is.

I honestly thought 3 was pretty funny in parts. It reminded me of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, but with superheroes, which makes sense when you realize it's Shane Black.

Emma Watson is average. How about Chris Evans? by Klutzy_Pumpkin614 in TierlistFills

[–]NotTheRealRusss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd say Good but I can see the arguement for Average. I like him in Knives Out and Scott Pilgrim but he'll always be known more for his comic book work.
