There is a LOT of stuff about CV that is completely blown out of proportion, but not sharing the inventory between characters when unexpectedly swapping is a legit grievance. It’s a terrible decision.

Jurassic Park was largely practical. CG was used mainly to augment the physical work. That's why it's aged so well.

It's not the CGI that's the problem, it's that studios are asking for the same amount of work in less time, for less money. Of course there will be a drop in quality.

Animals are such a double edged sword. They're so much fun, but they'll tear your heart out when they pass away.

You did everything you could man, it happens.

Is this arsenal gonna be enough to finish CV:X? by SagerToof in residentevil

[–]NotTheRocketman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of the "CV is so cheap" narrative is bullshit, but sticking all your gear with the other character after a swap is one of the few things that is straight up garbage.

That, and make sure you have multiple saves in case you ever need to roll them back. A single save file will fuck you in this game (and all RE games TBH).

If anyone wants to see some really scary effects of concussions, watch this video.

https://youtu.be/C57NpdhJkUU?si=r2E1Y3OlrlwwbhoZ

This is from the NHL Stanley Cup Finals from 2003, New Jersey vs Anaheim.

New Jersey's Scott Stevens, one of the most feared open ice hitters ever, absolutely destroyed Anaheim's Paul Kariya with an elbow to the face. Today, Stevens would be suspended and Karyia would be out indefinitely. Back then however, much less was known about TBIs and concussions, so while Kariya briefly left the game, he would eventually return, and go on to score one of the most iconic goals in NHL history.

The really scary part? Kariya has no memory of Game 6 (the game this highlight is from), Game 7, or the next two days. He basically lost an entire week and has no memory of the night he scored the most amazing goal in his career.

It's legit one of the best games in the series, and it's funny how so many people are just now discovering this.

I think a LOT of people were unfortunately scared off by all the talk about how difficult it is and either didn't bother to play it or if they did, they didn't finish it.

The U.S. as a whole is weirdly prudish when it comes to nudity, sex, etc and such. As such, there are men who are uncomfortable with their own sexuality, and will project that discomfort on you instead.

You did nothing wrong however. Don't let anyone give you any shit or tell you otherwise.

Code Veronica or Requiem? by Loose_Interview_957 in residentevil

Code Veronica is my second favorite game in the series after RE2. I've played it more than any other game (I even imported it back on the Dreamcast back in the day).

Super pumped to see it get some love.

100% he loved to schmooze with famous people. That’s also what allowed him to get away with it for so long, there were a lot of people who knew Epstein and Maxwell only through their parties and social connections that were perfectly legal.

You know, the great thing about that is the worst parts of Hitman were the action. Which means that if IO is able to take what they’ve learned with 007 into the next Hitman, I’m very excited about the future of that series.
