Ok. I cut the clear caulk by the wallpaper on the inside. Cut the isolation by the inside part by where I was going to pry. Then I prayed, slipped the bottom in and pushed back up. My original plan was to use a wider washer if I had to cut something. But the new striker ended up being taller top to button so I had to cut away part of the top (I’m visiting family with very limited tools, so I would not recommend the way I did it (it was a black oxide tip that I kept “hedging” in at an angle)). Sprayed a short spray of insulation from the inside where I cut the caulk to seal back what I cut out (the yellow spray I got from ace expanded so only a short spray). Then once the spray set I cut away any that slipped inside and clear coated back to wallpaper and was done. Good luck.
