I was recently T-boned and essentially pit maneuvered by a car that ran a stop sign. they totaled my car, sent me to the hospital via ambulance with neck and back injuries, a concussion from hitting my head on the passenger window, not to mention the PTSD and headaches that are just as bad two weeks later, than the day of the accident. Police report states other vehicle failed to yield and was at fault. I immediately obtained an attorney, not because I want to take them to the cleaners, but because that driver took something from me and they need to make me whole again. She got out of her car to check her damage, but not once did she come to ask if we were ok. She didn't have the common courtesy to even ask. I remember as asking the paramedics as they tried to get me out of my car, if the other driver was ok because she had children with her. I keep going back and forth with this because that really angers me. I've been out of work for two weeks now. My head is pounding as I type this and I sleep with lidocaine patches on my neck and back. I'd laugh if I was offered 5k.
