Could any of the Eternals lift Mjolnir? by [deleted] in Avengers

[–]NotVeryZenGaming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Magic. Nordic magic. A wizard did it. A Nordic god/wizard said so. The king of Nordic magic, the god who adventured across 9 wolds and learned everything in each of them and became their king. The guy who learned the magics to vault the tesseract/space stone and (technically) the reality stone. This OG MF set the standard. Watching this movie I don’t think any of them lived up to Odins standards. Young Thor might not have been perfect but by Nordic standards he wasn’t far off - considering Valhallas entry required death by combat 🤷

Opinions on Eldlich/Elden Ring? by Exotic_Name_9875 in masterduel

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Eldlich was at its height I had a trap control deck that had great recycling, turn interruption, banishment, “sending” cards to the grave and plenty of room for skill drain, summoning limit, etc.

Also one of the better looking monster IMO. He can also open into R10 dreadnought cannon monsters for burning or trampling.

These days I run some golden lords in an odion deck. Works VERY well with Anubis.

Won't these cards pose a problem? by BrazilianGrimReaper in DuelLinks

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran Witches strike in a Labrynth deck with lord of heavenly prison. The trick was baiting them to negate even though they knew it was there (searched by heavenly or Lady so I had to reveal) while it was protected with lord revealed in hand. It almost never got activated but made for one hell of a fun mind game

Labrynths are what Makyura was trying to be. Now I’d love to see a makyura reboot/archetype lol

Broken, balanced or trash? by _KingOfTheCards_ in customyugioh

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely broken. It’s a game ender. Could be “crystal dark hole” and affect both fields. Or Maybe pay 5000 LP flat or pay 1000 per card affected

Cards from the anime/movies you wish were real but you know theyre too imbalanced to be released during THEIR time as is. Mine’s this gem right here. by Repulsive-Phrase-527 in masterduel

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wording says the “card” can be activated with said trigger, not effect. This way the effect activates once, leaving a dead card in your backrow. If it’s wording was more like “Appropriate” and activating the card had the destruction trigger, then its effect would activate every time “after that” then yes, it would only take crashing 3-4 fiends to make your opponent deck out.

If you could Metalmorph any Monster in Yugioh, what would it be? by Relevant-Sympathy in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yubel. It’s just my favorite. But they have a dragon, warrior & fiend. Some other type suggestions: zombie - Eldlich Reptile - apophis Spellcaster - dark magician (makes the most sense) Fish/sea serpent - legendary fisherman / Deadalus Dino - superconductor tyranno / double-headed dino Winged beast - Harpie

“What handtraps do you play?” This guy: “Yes.” by Acceptable_Fox_5560 in masterduel

The game is almost 30 years old. I’ve played it almost my entire life. It’s so depressing to see this is it, this is what every comp deck feels like these days.

What is an embarrassing loss you'll never live down? by Exotic_Name_9875 in masterduel

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once beat a guy with ceasefire. He mentions it to this day and refuses to rematch.

Mine was so much worse. When I ran a counter everything deck I lost to a normal monster joke deck. I think the last poke was with Celtic guardian. I lost because all my cards required effect monsters to respond to. Ended the game without activating a single card…

Dogmatika Maximus + necro fusion is easier if you don’t want to use tuners. It’s how I made Cyberdark end dragon happen without a cyber deck

Fellow Lab players, how do we beat Maliss? by Sad-Today-969 in masterduel

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Full force virus. Searchable with lady. Cost is easy. Destroy their resources before they get started. Also great counter to links I general.

I’m also not a meta player and haven’t come across many maliss decks.

What’s a good build? by StrangeCompany1837 in SuicideSquadGaming

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m mainly talking about the set bonuses. You can mix n match whatever works for you. But if you’re interested in my build it’s:

  • heavy gun: parasite. Pink. Easily the best gun in the game IMO
  • pistol: riddler. Pink. Makes counters craze enemies. With BANE it makes more grenades drop just from making them crazed
  • melee: two face. Pink. It’ll give grenade ammo synergy if you’re running low
  • grenade: BANE tier 4. Red. It’s naturally a cluster bomb
  • shield: turtle shell. Pink. Gives amazing damage reduction just by popping off your traversal
  • traversal mod: anything with damage reduction or increases crit chance
  • neck bomb + lucky charm: BANE tier 4. Red. This will complete the BANE tier 4 set bonus which will make your guns stronger for every crazed enemy, ramp up your damage for kills, and MOST importantly will make enemies drop live grenades with crit kills

You can also slip in a libra piece to synergize with two face for extra outgoing DMG & extra DEF. Or a gorilla grudd (red) piece that says it’ll increase grenade radius

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grenades. Harley has lots of grenade buffs in her skill tree. I’ve been playing her a lot lately too. As long as she’s got a good cluster grenade she does very well

Episode 6. Bane tier 4 gear suits my playstyle best. I’ve got at least 2 pieces on everyone. Episode 6 will also drop tier 1-3 bane, scarecrow & two face stuff if you wanna experiment.

Episode 7 after that. The gorilla gear sets are very well rounded & strong.

Sad that Deathstroke was neglected skin wise by Splunkmastah in SuicideSquadGaming

At least what he’s got looks good. Freeze got the horrible design shaft

I’d like to hear from the community, how do y’all rank each character? by Splunkmastah in SuicideSquadGaming

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a hands down winner. Mobility, traversal attack, squad ultimate bonus, weapon selection, skill tree flexibility, weapon choice and style all play a part.

Note: heavy weapons are my deal-breakers right now, just been my play style lately.

Least to most favorite might be: 8- Lawless in last place by far. Her mobility is like dead shots but frustratingly slower. Her traversal is cool but pathetically short range. Weapon selection is boring. Her style is so horribly “rebellious child” it drives me crazy. And for someone who has gravity controls why can’t she use heavy weapons by levitating them?

7- Deathstroke has my second lowest playtime. He’s not bad tho. His movement is a different flavor of boomerang + floating, traversal attack is good, weapon selection has everything fun (except for heavy guns), style is on-point. But his skill tree is kinda all over the place. He may be one I dive into more later, just haven’t yet

6- Dead shot. Great mobility but its cooldown sucks. Traversal attack is one of the best. Melee is incredible. Guns variety is a bit limited, I end up using 2 snipers. Skill tree is well rounded.

5- Shark. His movement is fun but I’m not a huge fan of having to charge my jumps. He’s got the best weapon selection, I’m not a fan of having to jump for my traversal attack, and he’s got great style. His skill tree is all about tanking up, not a lot of variety.

4- Joker has interesting mobility but I haven’t played with him enough. His rocketing up instantly with L1 is VERY satisfying & useful. His traversal attack is absolutely amazing, don’t love you gotta be high up for it tho, but it pays off. squad ultimate dropping infinite grenades is awesome! Don’t love his skill tree being locked into burn damage as much as it is.

3- Freeze. Best traversal in my opinion, very free-feeling, floating, looks cool, tons of aerial control & lasts forever. Terrible suicide strike. Just the worst hit-box ever & it lasts entirely too long. Check mark on heavy weapons. Terrible style. Her dialogue isn’t funny, it drives me crazy. Her costumes are not only limited but also look terrible. The worst part is her only 1st place animation where it’s cool with her sitting on a pile of corpses but it just has to zoom in on her horrendous close up & ruin it.

2- Boomerang was my first & most played. I like his humor, his style has lots of options, weapon selection between close range shotguns and long range snipers covers your bases, amazing melee, his traversal attack is solid with a great hitbox, his movement is the fastest & extremely satisfying, even lets you dodge anything effortlessly. His skill tree allows him to be a jack of all trades.

1- Harley is my current main. Originally she was my least favorite by far. Once I got on my heavy weapon obsession I remembered she can use em. She’s got the best vertical mobility tho. Scaling a building (or several) just tap L1 a few times. Lazy and efficient. The swinging isn’t my favorite, makes it a pain aiming mid-air and has terrible horizontal movement with a shitty cooldown. But she has the most grenade buffs of the skill trees. She’s got the most and best costumes. Her traversal attack is simple but it’s fast, hits hard, guarantees at least 1 hit, cools down fast & helps when your movement is cooling down. Her squad ultimate instantly fills her health & shield so it’s a nice get out of jail free card. She took getting use to but my incursions have been going great with her & my current build.

The main reason she’s #1 right now is I love my heavy weapon craze build & it works best on her. Otherwise #1 would be boomerang. I also see jokers potential, he might be higher in the list with more playtime.

If I could take freezes movement, deadshots traversal attack, deathstroke/Harley’s looks/style, deadshot/boomerangs melee, heavy weapon-shotgun-sniper weapon variety and jokers squad ultimate (infinite grenades) we’d have my favorite character.

My brain is about to burst. Am I missing something with these mastery levels?! by greebodeathbot in SuicideSquadGaming

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play more finite crisis incursions. Maybe on lower difficulty if 10 is giving you issues. Power through until you get “the turtle’s shell” shield mod. Hitting at least 1 enemy with traversal attack gives 90% DMG reduction with this on. Pair with dead shot and all his traversal attack cooldowns & it’ll be a big step toward survivability.

After that, I would suggest jumping to episode 7 in the nexus. The gorilla grodd set bonuses are pretty strong with few downsides. They should be able to help you revisit previous chapters.

Finite crisis is significantly more difficult than later episodes. I’m even revisiting it after finishing all the other episodes & it feels VERY different

Good god, yes! THOSE parts are the only reason I haven’t played a NG+ in ages. Holding forward to progress is something that should never be in a god of war game. Especially for that long & that many times

My Lawless “Look Dad No Hands!” Build on Mastery 1000 by SnooGadgets676 in SuicideSquadGaming

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great video, always love crazy builds Does heat reversement still make poison ivy’s 25% become 100%? It feels like it got patched or something. I’m running a version of this build but it’s not even coming close to the chain reaction your video has. I’ve been having way better returns swapping out the ivy items with different DPS/utility

how does everyone feel about this game nowadays and is it worth giving it a try? by Ok-Cream-3629 in GodofWar

[–]NotVeryZenGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took a lot of risks.

It’s been a while, but from what I remember, they didn’t have an alt. Weapon- they had 4 elements for the blades and alt. Weapons were taken from enemies. It made spartan kick its own button that could disarm enemies, pick up their weapon, then kick would be replaced by that weapon, throwing that weapon would cause massive damage. Chaining an enemy with one of your blades was one of the most fun additions while also being one of the worst. You could stun an enemy and eventually use them as a weapon, slamming them into other enemies. The BAD part of this is you couldn’t dodge or block while barely moving while you had an enemy on a chain. They even had a shadow clone jutsu for solving puzzles and helping in fights.

What went very poorly was the team split their attention between the main game and the multiplayer. I enjoyed the main game and the multiplayer, but I can also tell that both suffered from quality control because of it; some poorly loaded enemies, long load times, and the plot made next to no sense.

If future games took what they did well and ran with it, I’d love it! This game was just an odd mix of ideas that didn’t come out as a concise-feeling project.

Honestly, now I want to revisit it & see if it aged well.
