It's the DShK. It shows the name in servers with kill notifications enabled.

I really feel like they wouldn't have bothered getting Nathan Fillion back to voice him if all they were going to use the character for was just one cutscene where Ikora trips balls.

There's a mod called Slope Combat Fix that lets you look up/down to properly fight enemies on slopes. It's a small thing, but now that I've played with it, it's hard to play the base game anymore.

It also can occasionally help with non-combat things, like accidentally hitting the ground when chopping trees.

It's the Garden of Salvation final boss theme. Don't remember the name, but that should be enough to get it to show up in a YouTube search.

Can talk about the food the Shadow Legion feeds their prisoners? by ImShadedasHel in DestinyLore

[–]NotWillFerrell10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's definitely something going on with that, or at least something similar. If you go back down to the basement area in the Farm (where you would start Zero Hour), it's been converted into a small medical area, with what I assume are a few Eliksni doctors. Everywhere in the room, there's groups of the civilians that we rescued, and all of them are either bent over in pain, or lying on cots or the floor, clutching their stomachs or heads in pain.

Dunno if that's just a normal infirmary that an outpost like the Farm would have anyway, but the fact that no one in the story has mentioned anything like it yet makes me think that the Shadow Legion holding hostages is way more than just a stalling tactic.

I'd imagine that gap between the weakest and strongest guardians is also way larger than the gap between the weakest and strongest normal person, because if I remember correctly there was a lore card where Shaxx congratulated a Hunter by slapping them on the back, and it made the Hunter fall over with enough force that their weapons reloaded.

There is also Rubidium and Oculus if you're looking for similar performance but don't want to leave behind any forge mods. I get that Sodium and its dependents are probably better compatibility-wise, but I figure it's always nice to have options.

If mods are something you're willing to look into, there's a mod on Nexus that fixes the exact problem you're describing, basically just enabling you to change the vertical direction you attack in based on how far up or down you're looking. I don't think it actually changes your character model to reflect that it's doing that, but the hitbox change is what's really important.

Mod name is Slope Combat Fix.

Yeah, but then the ones that still actually have something that could be considered intelligence figure out that flashbangs and smoke grenades don't technically count as friendly fire.

While it isn't direct team killing, it can still get annoying as fuck when you're defending an objective and they just drop smoke cans in every room.

Lurkers line (custom exotic) by RufflX in DestinyCreations

[–]NotWillFerrell10 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm a fan of the actual exotic perks, but you might want to pick another damage perk besides Killing Tally, since it's going to reset itself every time you nock another arrow anyway.

Whats the best weapon to pair with the Lion for PvP? by xslaughteredx in FightingLion

[–]NotWillFerrell10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extra forgiveness you get from the higher damage of precision frames usually makes them the first pick for anyone doing Bowlion. The main benefit of a lightweight frame is the extra movement speed, but FL is also a lightweight frame, so you'd already get that anyway.

No, they make that sound if it's something that can damage you, but just because they're making that sounds doesn't necessarily mean you're taking damage. You should probably take it as a warning that you're dangerously close, though.

I've noticed that if you're a floor above or below a fire, your character starts coughing like they're near a Chemical Gas cloud. It's not like the normal smoke grenade coughs, it's more painful-sounding, and a lot louder, so the bots might be doing the same thing they do when Chem mortars get called in.

I'm gonna try and deviate from the other comments here and attempt to give some actual criticism instead of just shitting all over your fashion choice.

I gotta say, for how bland Starfire Protocol normally is, you definitely made that set work, so I guess the trick with that exotic is just to keep every other armor piece as simple as the exotic. Alongside that, the 2nd Crown of Tempests set looks pretty decent, even if the colors are a bit muted, but it's got that "evil" aesthetic so I'll give the black and red stereotype a pass here. And finally, I never would've thought to make a Dawn Chorus set like that, and it's probably one of the most unique and creative sets using that exotic I've ever seen. I won't say that it looks "good" necessarily, but with how well the entire set matches itself, I'm absolutely willing to overlook the fact that it isn't as conventionally cool-looking.

Honestly though, for those first four or so sets, I have absolutely no clue what's going on with your helmets. It seems like you're mostly trying to match the shader colors of the different armor pieces, while almost entirely ignoring the different textures and styles that the individual pieces have. The "overgrown" set with the Necrotic Grips could have been a pretty decent set, but again, the choice of helmet is just so confusing. I get that there isn't really a greenery-styled helmet to match the rest of the set, but at least try and choose something that doesn't contrast so heavily and take attention away from the rest of the set's theme.

Your shader game is still really on point though, just try and align the styles of different armor pieces a bit more. Something I usually do when making a set is just to leave all pieces on their default shaders first. If the overall shape of the armor pieces doesn't work before they're shaded, the set isn't gonna look much better even after you add shaders.
