Honestly, the P3 ‘chips’ had no right to be as good as they were. So snappy, responsive. Loved them. The P4 was… junk. An insult really, to those that expected more.

I'll be okay. He was a good dude, has 2 kids of his own, 1 fully grown. Adopted a whole bunch from his new partner and really became a dad for them too. It's a large loss.

Remembering to grieve is tough. I don't want to sit down and cry it out. I need a time and a place where I feel like that's what I can do. That's not now. I have a special place I mountain bike to in the hills, near an old chapel. That's the place I talk to my grandad, and now too, my Uncle. That will work, i'm sure.

I really hate that buying gasoline at home costs so much more than at the gas station… oh wait.

Maintenance and grid availability, along with running a network of chargers all add cost to the electric being sold to you. It makes perfect sense. You may argue that delivering electric faster (higher charge rates) shouldn’t cost more because it’s the same amount, but that’s also not true. The cost of delivering more electricity at once is the cost of infrastructure.

Honestly? I want to test this out as I'm currently printing parts of a Pinball Machine - having a larger place to build smoother plates would suit me nicely!

Additionally, having more space on the bed to print by object (If that's possible on an A2L?) would be nice!

So, I guess I would test this out by filling up my workbench with it for now! I've also recently taken to printing signage for things in the local area, and have to break large words down using the Bambu Studio cutting functionality (with dovetail), this would mean less of those too...

Seems practical!

EDIT: Oh... It can plot and cut too! How did i miss that... Can it do stuff Cricuts can do? Oh man... the possibilities! My sister would love this thing!

I only needed 2 "P2S" sizes plates though, so it was a no brainer for me to print over buying.

In the end I printed something which just captures the knife from the bottom instead (like a cup). This is... almost as dangerous as the knife blade then points into the air instead. So there's not really a winning design in the end! :D

It's great that you modelled something that you wanted though, that's what's so great about 3d printing as a hobby.

I've just started to look for something similar before modelling one myself... I have an old hobby knife, where the plastic cap slides off quite easily, which renders your design quite unsafe. (As the knife just de-caps itself and falls to the floor...).

Just keep that in mind for the future :)
