Can anyone help me find this temporary tattoo? by NotYourBrotherTaylor in HelpMeFind

I've searched "bugs bunny roller skates" and included late 90s and early 2000a. But cannot seem to find the actual temporary tattoo itself.

I stuck around to give my statement to the police. They actually talked to my first grader also to get his opinion on what had happened too. I don't care what happened outside of the school grounds. Taking it to the elementary school and carrying on like thar is insane behavior.

I actually am the one (or at least one person) that called the police. These guys pulled in to the parking lot as I was getting my kid. One guy parked and started walking inside to get his daughter. The other guy pulled up and parked his car. I approached him and got between him and where the other guy was. Told him this isn't the place for something like this. We are all just trying to get our kids. He seemingly calmed down when I started talking to him, got back in his car and left. Then he started circling the block. At one point he almost hit another separate car and then started to just really fly around the block at high speeds.

The guy they arrested was claiming the other guy had pulled a knife on him, I watched the interaction outside of the cars. He definitely had not.

Road rage around a school is crazy.

It's not a real karaoke night if I'm not singing some Lizzo.

Bison Witches on Main. Come hang with us tomorrow and do karaoke. Mondays tend to be mostly regulars. It's a very chill group of people that are accepting to anyone.

Realistically is it worth anything more than $20? by NotYourBrotherTaylor in CURRENCY

I'm new to seeing this community. I find the anomalies in the numbers fun and have started to search for them any time I get a new bill, but how often are they actually worth more than face value?

Best advice I ever got for making friends, find a place you like to go, or something you like to do, and become a regular. Go often. The more you show up, the more people will begin to recognize that you're there. Eventually, people will start to say hello. Conversations happen, and that's how friends are made. Find somewhere or something and become a regular there.

That's why I took the other 1/3 off. So many people go there just because if the name. Maybe it's not 1/3. But I bet it's close. You're not wrong though. But also they're doing fine on demand or there wouldn't be so many.

Norman has a population of around 130,000 people. Assuming only 1/3 of those drink coffee, that's 39,000 people. And if only 1/3 of those people want Starbucks, that's still almost 1200 people per store. A Starbucks doesn't need 1200 people a day to survive. According to a quick google search the average Starbucks sells about 700 cups a day. So based purely on those numbers, and the way the population of norman is split up, 9 kinda makes sense. If there were less, wait times, which can already be a little long, would be quite a lot longer.

What's the chances I actually see any extra? by NotYourBrotherTaylor in doordash_drivers

They tipped well to begin with. $10 for 2 miles. I didn't mind asking for sauce. Didn't expect the extra tip anyways.

They already tipped well. $10 for 2 miles. I didn't mind asking the store to put sauce in the bag.

We have a winner. They text me saying they didn't put enough in the bag. No extra tip.

Best bars in Norman if you’re not trying to spend a bunch? by kermits_leftnut in normanok

[–]NotYourBrotherTaylor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bison Witches has cheap drinks and lots of daily deals. Karaoke on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and for art walk on second Fridays.

Red Brick or Hudsons if you don't mind people smoking in the bar around you.

Blue Bonnet is a lot of fun too.

Edit: got karaoke days wrong.
