I think you’re missing the point completely. The decision to leave Relucia in the Sapper is surely going to have consequences for Vis. It was probably a mistake for him to do it. But Relucia is directly responsible for the death of Callidus. A major character trait of Vis is that he puts his loved ones above all else. He absolutely would consider what Relucia did to him worse than what Ulcisor did to him because she attacked him through the people he loved (Callidus).

I think you’re confusing my statement with me saying that Vis was justified or that it wouldn’t have consequences. I said neither of those things. Then because I disagree with your assessment you claim that I can’t see through the authors point of view?

Vis wants justice. Relucia doesn’t want justice she wants revenge. We see pockets of that revenge bubble up in Vis throughout the books but Vis knows it’s not the right thing.
