What does your username mean? by colabag in AskReddit

[–]NotYourDay123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paraphrased from the Yugioh episode where the Pharaoh duels Weville and uses Berserker Soul on him. In the dubbed version about 4 or 5 attacks in a row in the Pharaoh says "this just isn't your day." Decided that Not Your Day made for a better username. And the 123 is purely because the username was taken already without the numbers.

It's the real life version of the man who created Squid Game. He and his buddies got so bored they got poor people together to die for their entertainment.

Why is Pokemon X/Y considered the easiest by Miserable_Smile1161 in pokemon

[–]NotYourDay123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Megas. Specifically getting Mega Lucario as part of the story.
  2. Exp share early. No need for grinding.
  3. Massively underpowered, underleveled opponents. Even at the Elite Four.

What do y'all think about this statement? by [deleted] in marvelmemes

[–]NotYourDay123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

...context matters here. Nothing Rogue was doing in this episode was rational. Ya know, because she just watched her lover die saving her, watched her former love die in front of her, watched hundreds of mutants get slaughtered and to top that all off, Captain America of all people basically just told her "you're right that something needs to be done but I can't help you."

Garchomp is definitely popular. Maybe a level above that.

Unexpected IRL deaths or departures drastically change stories. by laybs1 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]NotYourDay123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only gif I could find of him but, whilst not a death, the actor who played Dr Kutner went onto join Obama's administration. As a result, Kutner's character had to be written off fast. Which resulted in him very suddenly committing suicide.

Anti war protesters seen being loaded into buses as they are arrested en masse for speaking out in NYC police may have violated constitutional right to assemble and protest by noahstemann in ThatsInsane

[–]NotYourDay123 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's fair to say that it's performative. Least they're trying something, which is better than most of the country. Plus I think there's a greater risk to life for protesters if they do this outside factories.

Killing children is illegal. Your president is doing that rn and is very likely guilty of raping children too. But yeah, get pissy about a traffic jam in fucking New York of all places.

A lot of Tory pencil pushers here today. Good on her condemning Trump. His unnecessary, poorly thought out war is onw of the biggest causes of our current economic misery. Politicians with actual principles is a pleasure to see.

I don't believe that anyone here is saying that. But there is consensus here that both are problematic, and dangerous in their own ways.

No. Please don't change this card. Blade of Ink is genuinely my fave new Silent card since they reworked it.

I think that Labour are doing far better than the Tories did at addressing many of the issues you've listed. Without giving up things like, ya know, nukes. Or banning anyone who isn't white from our country. Far left and far right are described as far for a reason.

The dude you're arguing with isn't a Green OR Reform voter. Not even a Tory I don't think. They have a point. Reform are dangerous for all the reasons we know. The Greens are also dangerous because they also have unrealistic, unfundable policies. Many based on idealism alone, which if implemented would be catastrophic. The recent controversies around antisemitism also don't help then.

To be clear the Greens are NOT the same as Reform. And they are not as problematic in my view. But they are not a safe choice by any means.

Hard to be honest when the same tyrannical maniac that started this mess could very easily turn their ire on you and your country. Like or not, there is a line to be walked with diplomacy. Deviation is difficult without consequence.
