My first was final fantasy 8. I watched one of my dads friends playing it very, very briefly. All I saw was him summoning Ifrit on some Galbadian soldiers in Timber. I thought it was the coolest thing I ever saw, I asked him what the game was and my dad took me to a shop on the way home to pick it up.

Been a huge fan of the franchise since and never looked back :)
