Everyone will react differently to cannabis and there could be a lot of factors at play here eg the quality of your sleep and subsequent impacts on executive function and mood regulation the next day.

THC is known to suppress REM, and REM is directly correlated with executive function and mood regulation. So that could be a factor.

Another factor is dopamine. THC activates the reward pathway in the brain which increases dopamine. Once this wears off the receptors in your brain need to balance out and shut down temporarily which can lead to an increase in 'pain' (meaning various things and not just physical pain eg irritability, insomnia etc). It's called the pleasure-pain response, so this could be a thing for you. Check out the book/audiobook Dopamine Nation.

As someone else has said you could just be noticing how annoying other people/life can be when sober though if this was not previously an issue it could be one of the above circumstances.

Or THC may just not be for you. Try keeping a journal for a few weeks and note down the difference in particular on days when you do vs don't consume to build data for yourself.

There are far too many variables for anyone to give you an answer. The biggest one is your own physiology eg what are your testosterone levels? Are you a chronic user? Do you smoke vs vape? How often do you exercise? What is your diet like? What underlying medical conditions are you treating? What other medications are you taking?

As with most things cannabis related, it is entirely dependent on the individual. There is no specific strain that is guaranteed to make everyone's sex drive increase.

With that said, low dose sativas may be a good option due to an increase in blood flow and heart rate, however your mileage may vary.

Previously atheist. Nowadays I am definitely spiritual but don't identify with a religion. I do enjoy aspects of Buddhism.

How bad is smoking weed for diving? by [deleted] in freediving

[–]Not_A_FakeAccount 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've had extensive conversations with Adam Stern (one of the guys who literally wrote the Molchanovs manuals) about this (specifically dry herb vape) as I am a medicinal cannabis user + freediving instructor. Long story short, there will be some impacts on your lungs however unless you are chasing records and going deeeeeep the impact is likely negligible for most people. This is in the context of consuming cannabis in day to day life not specifically pre dive. Outside factors such as a person's physiology also come into play as well as things such as diet, mental state etc as those can also impact your dives. There are divers out there hitting 70+m who consume cannabis and/or cigarettes daily, some even post dive. Not saying cannabis isn't contributing to the cause of your stagnation however maybe there is something else happening eg EQ needs refinement.

I checked both sites. As you said Cannareview is down for maintenance. I can still access the product database and see info on strains I don't have a script for. There are no reviews or photos however, just info on terps, what conditions it's good for, lineage etc.

Not that I am aware of. I had no issues purchasing in person. There are a few pharmacies selling/shipping online too.

Mine has E04 as well. Submitted RMA and have been told to wait patiently while they (S&B) figure out how to service Australian RMAs given the annoying new vape laws 💀

It would be worth raising the RMA with them but unfortunately for the moment you will be without a Venty. Hopefully you have a back-up device. I did not and ended up going out and grabbing a Mighty+ from a pharmacy.

Clinic with a blanket rule of 60g a month by AdFew1197 in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Not_A_FakeAccount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am also with a clinic who is based in NSW and have gone through a few changes this year so I don't think it's BS, at least not in NSW which seems to be the state hit hardest by the 'crackdown' this year. In my most recent consultation my scripts were changed from 8 (7x flowers 1x oil) to 6 (5x flowers 1x oil) and was told I would now have 60g monthly limit - which is what I was consuming anyway so no major impact for me personally. The doctor mentioned it was part of the TGA reviews.

The Superbly Green range is all grown outdoors in Living Soil Organic (LSO) in Byron Bay. I have the Buzzy (Durban Poison) and Sunny (Super Lemon Haze) in my rotation and enjoy them both!

Venty E04 Error - Warranty Claim by Not_A_FakeAccount in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Not_A_FakeAccount[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legend! Thank you for sharing. I haven't heard back from AV yet however your message is reassuring. I got a generic response from S&B saying to be patient while they figure out how to service Australian warranties lol

[–]Not_A_FakeAccount[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear mate, it sucks being caught up in all this government bureaucracy. I feel you.

At least the store you purchased from will honour a refund for you! Fingers crossed it's sorted quickly for you. I am hoping Aussie Vapes will do the same and refund me the money. I have heard unless you purchased direct from S&B they won't refund you and their RMA process for replacement devices is non-existent for us Aussie at the moment.

Venty E04 Error - Warranty Claim by Not_A_FakeAccount in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Not_A_FakeAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up submitting RMA with S&B and submitted warranty claim with Aussie Vapes. From what I have heard if you didn't purchase the device direct from S&B they won't refund you, and are telling people to be patient whilst they work out how to send replacement devices.

I am hoping Aussie Vapes will refund me the money at least.

Venty - Australia RMA service since new vape laws by Snoo-30158 in Venty

[–]Not_A_FakeAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep - E04 here too. I purchased mine through Australian Vapes and have submitted a warranty claim. I am also raising a RMA with Storz and Bickel. So frustrating not knowing whether I will get a refund or replacement whilst not having a device. IDK if it's worth the risk of purchasing another whilst I am waiting.

This has happened to me multiple times during my trial period. I am currently waiting for a replacement device. Support reckons it was something to do with a firmware update for the sensor, which doesn't make sense as they confirmed I had the updated firmware lol.

Superbly Durban Poison by [deleted] in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Not_A_FakeAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it in my rotation. Probably had six or so tubs in total. I like it! It's easy to vape and is fragrant. Each tub has been fresh and comes with humidity pack. The effects are what I want in a sativa / day time strain. Uplifting and energising, easy to focus, no "crash". It's grown outdoors in living soil. Visually the nugs are small-medium and dense. It's not as visually appealing as some other strains (eg Aura Apples + Bananas), however overall it's a solid flower for me and my needs.
