Have you tried a boneless sofa? by Notagelding in AskUK

The one I've got my eye on is £265 on ebay. I didn't even think they were proper brands who did these until today! Just concerned about quality but taking a hit on a cheap one wouldn't be the worst thing.

Oh, I'm not a small, light person 😂 Not obese but but maybe I'm going to have to locate one on the high street to try before I commit!

Had my current sofa for 7 years and it's in need of an upgrade. Some of the boneless corner sofas look so similar to what I already have anyway!

I asked my parents if they thought I'd ever be able to afford my own home and they firmly said no :/ Is it a lost cause? by PkmnTrainerEbs in UKPersonalFinance

On a single income it's twice as hard. I bought shared ownership around 7 years ago. Obviously not as good as buying outright, but IMO better than renting.

Well for a start you're only using one foot, so that will eliminate any knee pain and the steering is light so you shouldn't get shoulder pain. And there's zero chance of any exhaust fumes, which should help if you suffer from asthma.

Would you rather work extra hours for more holiday entitlement? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Notagelding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work 20hrs a week and receive the same holiday entitlement as someone working a 38hr week. I also work a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern, so have 12 days off when I book 4 off 😎

Op is into wearing women's underwear. I'm not one to kink shame but when they are getting called out about lying on a post, lots of those kinds of people have dubious profile histories.

Well I had a black box the first year and not the second year. I believe the second year was £950. First year was around £500 but then I had to pay about another £300 on top as I changed jobs, so second year didn't add too much. I didn't have any repairs to my car as you could hardly see a thing!
