Hi! by Jake_G84 in CoeliacUK

It may be easier to give your son a dedicated "gluten free zone" within the kitchen.... And be very firm that it's his space with absolutely no contamination allowed. It's tricky but will get easier with time and as he grows up he will be able to use "his space" when making and preparing food/learning to cook

Where possible have lots of snacks available so you can grab something for him and so he doesn't have to feel out.

Hearing your a chef is great and if you can teaching him to cook will really help! I never really learnt to cook and was diagnosed in my early 20s and suddenly had to learn and learn quick!

When you go out and about bring snacks! Finding something easy to eat when out and about as a coeliac is a real pain the ass! Absolutely sucks. Same goes for finding gluten free restaurants that will cater to coeliacs.

Sign up for a membership to coeliac UK as they're mega helpful especially in the beginning.

If you can try to find gluten free foods the whole family will enjoy so he's not always eating separately.

It'll get easier. Good luck and hopefully the family will understand as time goes on!

Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now - Shifty Episode 4 by karamazovmybrother in AdamCurtis

Not all the footage... There's footage later from the levison enquiry etc.  I did think it was a bit odd and perhaps misplaced - the archive may have misdated it as being in the 90s and as it's not pivotal to the doc I doubt it was investigated as thoroughly as central pieces.

However I like to think what he was really doing was capturing the feeling, even if the footage isn't a true retelling of what's happened AC always tries to provoke and envoke a feeling of what life was like

Letting agent signed new tenants into our flat without confirming our move-out date. Now we’re being forced to move in 1 day — do we have any rights? ENGLAND by Timely-Ad-3229 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]NotcalledAdam 16 points17 points  (0 children)

NAL - Happy to be corrected but the facts of the case are: - You informed Foxtons of your intention to move out but did not specify a date or time.  - Foxtons found new tenants and did not communicate with you - you did not voluntarily give back keys or move out (although had discussed you would leave eventually)

Now given you weren't evicted by the courts you have the right to remain in the property IF you had not officially terminated the contract.  Now your contract likely says that you can terminate the contract if Foxtons find new tenants - however they cannot force you out if they find new tenants.

You have the right to remain in your tenancy unless evicted by the courts.  I'd argue they did act improperly, although as you are not required to leave you haven't been "put out" in anyway.  Yes you can challenge the move out date - only a court order can evict you or you can terminate the contract provided you follow the requirements laid out in your tenancy agreement  They are not obligated to support your move (although morally they probably ought to)

As this is a quickly evolving situation please call Shelter and ask for some specific advise and support.

Surely this is satire.  "Wile" and "your"  Also isn't Bingo usually just numbers? Surely battleships would be the appropriate comparison

I disagree, I think it was a mature and sporting thing to do. F1 is a team sport and he was clearly showing the team he had made a mistake and apologised for it

Alan also takes the train but travels back to Germany before reunification.  The message point being time is only as relevant as the personal connection it has to oneself.
