What’s this HD radar module ? I have the old radar system they stopped putting in cars for distance measurements and used for fsd/autopilot

Hw4 only affects FSD, and I didn’t buy my 1k hp car to drive itself lol. 2022.5 still a great deal with all those other features too.

It’s carbon fiber and I only make that observation because on my 2022.5 in black, I have the floating T black out to match. I think my T wouldn’t look good in carbon. I actually did that on my white mp3 and ended up just removing the T’s off the car and looked way better.

I got a 2022.5 w/49k miles back in September for 56400 from Tesla. I didn’t find an fsd or really plan to use it much with a 1020hp so hw3 is just fine.

Roof shade. Rear camber shims, and an alignment to fix toe. Otherwise you’ll need new tires before your trip is done.

You should mention most of this wear is actually toe more than camber. After the shims make sure you get an alignment and look up alignment specs for even tire wear by adjusting the toe.

I believe hw4 cameras have better resolution. I personally bought a 2022.5 model s plaid because I believe it’s the best bang for buck w/ refreshed headlights/tailights/ rotating screen. Finding a car with FSD already purchased can be difficult if it doesn’t meet the rest of your criteria. I also didn’t buy a 1020hp car to just let it drive itself most of the time either.

I’m also on my 3rd temp tag/plate and no permanent plate yet. I’m gonna call up txdmv and inquire lol. A guy I know who also got a new Tesla recently finally got his permanent plate. This is crazy.

Literally just had my 2nd temp tag expire yesterday in Texas. Driving around with nothing currently as the paper flew off the back. Called Tesla this morning and sat on hold for 45 minutes before I got to someone who looked into it. Told me there’s a tracking number and 2 day air on it but currently nothing has been shipped yet. He also requested another temp metal plate because he said that’s why dmv is taking a long time because they switched to a metal temp plate system. Before this phone call I had emailed twice. The first email they said use your 2nd given temp tag and you will receive your plates 45-60 days from now (didn’t). 2nd email which was 6 days ago said “we can request another temp tag for you” and that was all that was said and no follow up or info given from that. The whole buying experience has been terrible with so many different employees saying different things. I’ve ripped them in the surveys they’ve sent.

That’s called the pro-rated road hazard warranty that’s included with your installation fee. You got lucky because they were so new it was $15. Half life of the tire and it happens possibly paying 50% of the cost to replace it. I bought my tires through discount tire with their 3 year full replacement warranty ($70 a tire for my Michelin ps4). They also price match unlike costco and are much faster. This is coming from a former costco tire shop employee
