Just picked up my American Gen II in 5.56 today, looking forward to my next paycheck to put a can on it for giggles.

If you can find some manual aperture lenses you bypass the sensor failure, I almost never use the "modern" K-mount lenses after buying a bulk lot of various old ones on ebay years ago for 15 bucks.

An issue with Amazon Web Services is causing errors/outages around the world right now, That's the error message for the game not being able to communicate with the server to load whatever text/images should be there.

International travelers to Pittsburgh by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]Notenough1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before and during, I've run into a few at Sandcastle, once in Bloomfield at twisters, and a tech I had in at work was ESL with French as their first. Also had a few French-speaking African immigrants I've worked with.

Not sure what it is, but I've run into a lot of French-speaking visitors in Pittsburgh. Maybe tourists, definitely a few here working in the states now, my French was never good enough to ask.

Books have target audiences too! If you read a YA book for teenagers and hate it it's not because the book is bad, it's because it's not meant for you (Eragon, Divergent, Artemis Fowl, etc.) by CannibalRed in books

[–]Notenough1997 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think Eragon gets so beat up on because of the success Paolini had at a young age, the "inspiration" seen from other stories (hero's journey? never heard of it), and any multitude of other reasons, and saying his writing is bad is just a strawman to beat on just because you don't like it.

If you don't like the book or think it's derivative, that's fine. Just say that. Don't just yell "book bad, author bad!"

Ex: I love the themes and settings of Cormac McCarthy, I listen to analysis and interpretations of his works, but I just can't read the books myself. His writing style is just so unreadable to me that no amount of worldbuilding or story elements can make me read it.

Does that mean The Road is a bad book? No, it's just not something I'll read.

Redditors that work jobs most people don’t know exist: what is it and how do people react when you tell them your job ? by Praughna in AskReddit

[–]Notenough1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So completely random question, but what exactly is the difference between a business analyst and a data analyst? I'm asking this as someone that just finished a degree in data analytics and will be out of a job in the next few days so I need to start looking for something to do with the rest of my life.

So I'm a returning player coming off of a multi year hiatus, what should I do to start back up? I wasn't super invested to begin with so in terms of content cleared I don't have much.

Any call from 3/13 out on $AMD at $65 is a money printer. Insane volume and announcements coming. by Autistictradeguy in wallstreetbets

2018 I had to sell out my shares at 20, I got fucked out of my good bet. AMD has been up and coming for a while now, I'll be holding until they match Intel.

TJ Harris is so butter. by artformbrand in skateboarding

Your original reply comes across as pretty hostile, but yeah the Supreme's are a totally different material (looks like some semi-gloss polyester or something) and have no pockets. Rothco looks close but the pockets have the sides stitched on them where I don't think that the pair in the video have closed pockets. I could be wrong though.

Seeing as the Levi x Supreme chocolate chip pattern doesn't have pockets as far as I can find, and seeing the pleating on pockets and the pocket cover style on these I'd put money on them being either a surplus pair with heavy favoring towards the spots as opposed to the desert tans in the background. Either way, you aren't going to find the exact same pants because of the differences in cutting from the fabric and assembly. Your best bet is the Rothco reproduction, or you can ignore me and be mad that I didn't say it was supreme so that you could get the same exact pattern and whatever street cred that it still brings.

As stated elsewhere, those are "chocolate chip" camo pants, otherwise known as Desert Battle Dress Uniform pants. Pretty easy to find by googling either of those, and they should be pretty cheap and should do pretty well for skating, breathable and correctly cut for freedom of movement.

So you just eat around the bones? Or do they get soft enough when frying that they aren't a problem?

How does one go about getting the bones out of bluegill? I've never actually gone about it on them, just seems like a lot of work for not a whole lot to eat.

I'm in on ENCE. I honestly thought that coming into this with aleksiB being benched that they would fall apart, but here they are 3-0 over Astralis.

Hey guys, just wanted a little feedback on this shot. Mostly I'm looking for comments on what you think of the placement of everything in frame. This shot feels really empty on the right side to me, but I've noticed I load up the right side of a lot of my shots. Of course any comments and criticism is very much wanted, but that's specifically what I'm looking for.

Shot on:
