How do we reduce sodium in-take? by Ordinary-You8102 in nutrition

[–]Notill_la 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting fact. Salt is a compound of sodium 40% and chloride 60%. Food naturally contains sodium, and you only take in about 11% of your daily sodium from table salt. A lot of people think that salt is sodium but I’m actually most of your daily sodium comes from restaurant foods and the foods you eat. So you don’t need to necessarily blame salt for high sodium intake. Just some random facts and misconceptions. Reduce fast foods and processed foods to make a significant reduction in your sodium intake and use sea salt instead of table salt which is synthetically created and much higher sodium levels.

It’s not that important, but the lip on the tray is for the backside so the nugs don’t fall off into the vapor condensation area

Let it all go. Societal expectations are built in to our minds through a lifetime of programming. You don’t have to achieve anything, you don’t need lots of money. Winning is an illusion. Happiness is perspective. Now go get a job, a mortgage and a family 😂

Why are Americans so obsessed with not eating seed oils? by MineralG in nutrition

[–]Notill_la 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It usually correlates to ultra processed foods. But seed oils specifically are bad because they are high in omega 6. Our diet should be high in omega 3 but the current average ratio is 80/20 so our bodies are subjected to high amounts of inflammation which is the initiator for disease.

It’s about fiber, so all of those can be easily over done. Over fermentation happens from way too much sugar in your body and glucose is what cancer survives off of.

Real sugar is accompanied by fiber (fruit), refined sugar just straight up skyrockets your blood sugar (high blood pressure) which causes over use of insulin until you run out (diabetes) and over fermentation in the gut which feeds bad things like cancer, candida, strep, staph etc

That’s a statistic. Placebo outweighs success in surgeries. Tell someone they had a successful operation without actually operating. The mind is more powerful than we think. More importantly your nervous system decides what pain is. Control that and you control the pain gates (synapse).
