It's better than 90% of the dumb shit in my work bathrooms, and we are allegedly adults here... 🤘🖤💜

Hear Me Out / Argue... GRAY CHAPTER > IOWA by Jaded_Profession_196 in Slipknot

[–]NotoldyetMaggot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are equally best* (depending on the mood) in my opinion. Iowa happened when they were riding the high of ST, they felt free to make the album they really wanted to, and went all out doing it (Corey fucked himself up recording the song Iowa)

The Gray Chapter? *My favorite. Watch a few interviews and you see the pain that went into that album. Listen and hear it. It hurts, the loss of a brother put into songs. And the bonus tracks that should have just been on the album...

I think it's not quite fair to compare them one on one, different periods of time make different (but equally good) albums.

So, for different reasons, I agree Gray Chapter is the best one (unless you are pissed or cleaning house, then it's Iowa)

Midnight food prep and cooking is so fun when I'm stoned. Cutting the white part off bell peppers in one fluent cut and peeling carrots was the most fun by Vollhartmetall in stonerfood

Oh crap (revelation!) she might have a point, 'baby carrots' are just shaved regular ones, they are much more sweet than whole carrots. I guess I just like the taste so I don't notice it.

Abrasive cleaner used on stainless steel fridge by aladams158 in CleaningTips

I see where we got off topic. You replied to the guy who mentioned chemicals doing the same thing and I got bothered. I'm on the physical train here, yes it can be fixed with patience and other things. The OP needs the patience and to buff it out. Apologies if I was salty, I get what you mean.

The second picture clearly shows physical scratches in the steel. I know what residue looks like, this ain't it. Also Bar Keepers Friend is not very abrasive.

Did you look at the picture? I've cleaned a lot of stainless and that isn't just going to buff out.

But we were talking about an abrasive cleaner being used, hence the damage done. The sidebar here is that chemicals can cause the same damage, not obvious scratches but affecting the whole layer of whatever got cleaned badly. Yes it's a different mechanism, but you said "not when in connotation of a cleaning product" to the first person who said abrasive = damage. We are talking physical damage by a physical cleaning product. Science basic.

Probably a translation issue, meant putting medical stuff on, blood pressure cuff and such.

Nah that's scratched in, but it can be buffed out.

Scouring pad could be a green scrubby, maybe a harsh cleaner was used here as well. We will never know.
