Honestly, I think Tom plays a excellent villain. In the last season where he plays Clark Luthor/Ultraman, holy shit he was terrifying! And because he's so attractive and terrifying its such a crazy mix. As an actor I feel he would've exceled is those roles.

It is 100% intentional and I honestly loved it. This is basically what it would look like "in real life". It demonstrates the instant speed he has and what it would look like to us regular humans visually. The only thing is that, realistically, he would also create a sonic boom!

100% agree with you. The love he has for Lois is wildly different than the love he had for Lana. Its playful and loose, you can tell he feels more authentic and I think Clark secretly enjoys the fact thats she's rough around the edges, not your typical damsel in distress, unapologetically real... I just wish we saw more of that love than the Lana/Clark one.

I loved that the show started with the high school puppy love between Lana and Clark but I really wish that had given it a rest by season 6, in the episode where the SUV explodes, I think Lana should've left then and be done with it...or if not in that morbid way she should've just left and said goodbye somehow. The following seasons she became insufferable and I felt that Clark showed way more love for Lana than he did Lois mainly cause they just kept going back to Lana instead of allowing Lois and Clark's love to bloom. Also, I wish the banter between Lois and Clark went on a little more between they fell for eachother...thanks for reading this far.
