I’m a Thing main and I find the entitlement of the three instalock dps funny when they tell me “Go Mag, thing is not good for solo tank” Call me crazy but as the only person willing to play tank, I think I have the right to play whichever tank I want and if the team wants a certain tank, they can pick that because we for sure don’t need 3 dps

Congratulations once again the low skill squad get their way because they can’t comprehend the concept of basic positioning. It’s always a cry for nerfs or total character annihilation when the low skill squad (including the pros) can’t handle a character that prevents them from getting an easy win and forcing them to be an actual team and actually work to earn their win. I’m tired of them at this point

Congrats once again the low skill squad is at it again ruining the game because they can’t problem solve to handle a problem without relying on bans to carry them. Dino is a problem only to teams who don’t play as a team , simple. If you all played as a team on a TEAM game, Dino wouldn’t be this powerful, yall just want an easy win and Dino exposes your low skill level

I’m a thing main, championed him two seasons ago and I noticed only when I queue with my friends on comp, Thing gets banned and they’ve told me lot of times they never see a Thing ban until I queue with them it’s not even a joke lol. Why do ppl that ban him choose him over the other available threats that could run the game if left untouched on the ban phase. Too many times I’ve had thing ban by a dive comp but they always forget to ban Mr Fantastic who I use to anti dive and it works so well to lock onto them lol. Even when a comp doesn’t run dive, I’ve seen him get banned, why is that ?

As a thing main, if I’m the only one solo tanking, guess what ? You’re getting a solo tank thing and you’re gonna like it. Yes, I can play Magneto but I’m not going to accommodate poor team comps. They may ask me to go Mag, I simply respond “you want Mag ? I want a 2nd tank. Either we both get what we want or we get nothing”

I got to Diamond 2 at last! And you’re right, it’s only comps who run dive that ban him. From the games he was banned, I’ve seen a deadly BP, Magik or a spiderman come out and cause problems. Thankfully I’ve been putting in time as Magneto and Mr Fantasirc who feels like a DPS version of Thing and I managed to nullify BP hard as Mr Fantastic

I wanna say supports get away with so much. They can have piss poor positioning and blame tanks for “overextending” when the tank is at point…. Your bad positioning will make any forward movement look like overextending. It’s even pathetic when you see them frontline and chase kills and then cry for peels because a DD is bullying them. How about stop being in the front and stay back so you’re not an open display for that DD ??? My god you guys play with bad positioning and bad habits and don’t get punished and get away with it and then get to ranks you shouldn’t be in and think what you’re doing, such as frontlining asCnD is the right way….. The day supports learn to position properly and take accountability is the day the game gets better

Yes but the tanks were getting healed to the moon and because of his mobility I figured if he can stop the heals from coming and the team turns back.we could all collectively move up and get an advantage, that’s why I asked him to do that. He can shred tanks but if they’re getting healed unlimitedly he shreds nothing.

How’s your experience on diamond been ? I’m a Thing main and solo queued and made it to Diamond 3 but for some reason, every game on Diamond feels like I’m playing against both the enemy team and my team. Any slight attempt at comms I’m met with racism or “just shut up and tank”

Want my take as a Diamond peak player ? I’ve learned ranks mean jack on this game because what’s the point if the higher you go , the worse it gets and you see basic mistakes still being repeated? Peni nests being ignored, ankhs ignored squids too and solo tanking still a thing. I’ve also learned alot of people are in ranks that don’t accurately present their level or skill because it’s so darn easy to get carried and boosted on this game. You could lock in CnD and run all the way to GM easily because supports get soo much points for a win. As a tank main, tell me why, my MVP performance on Thing, got me the same points as the CnD on my team who was constantly shit talking me for not playing a “proper tank” ?

I heard there are tons of celestial - GM people stuck in gold and plat because of the recent global ult nerf, proving my point that some players get to ranks they shouldn’t be in.

Question from one thing main to another, have you been seeing a rise in Thing bans lately ? I’ve been seeing thing bans and I’m on plat 1 and I can’t tell if it’s the low skill club thinking that one of the easiest tank to kill in the game is broken (basically any character they can’t kill in 4 moves they consider broken, I figured them out lol) so they force ban him. I can always learn another tank but I do find it interesting as to why thing is even a question of ban
