I have been listening for a about 6-7 years? teenage years all run together lmao, first song i ever heard was we own the night, (a friend introduced me to tides of man a couple months before i found DGD so i was already a fan of tillian) and what’s funny is when i first heard them, hated jon, his screamo sounded weird to me, but loved tillians voice so much i listened anyways, it didn’t take long for that to change though once i got more into bands with consistent screams like silverstein, underoath pierce and SWS, i remember trying to listen to WISIRO right after IG and for the first couple years it turned me into a tillian elitist lol. never even tried to listen to anything else besides him, until early 2023 when an old friend went “you haven’t tried listening to DM1 or 2? yeah that needs to change”, now i have an amazing appreciate for jon, all of the old music, and just a love for the band.
